Banned Grammys Taylor Swift Travis Kelce

TAYLOR SWIFT BANNED TRAVIS FROM THE GRAMMYS

The Grammys took place in Los Angeles Sunday night and nominee Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, was conspicuously absent. Here’s what we just found out: Travis was actually granted permission to take the night off from practice to attend music‘s biggest night as Taylor’s date, but SHE insisted he stay with his team and practice for the Super Bowl. Why? Taylor remembers that when Travis’ team, the KC Chiefs lost a game right after he was visiting her in South America where she was performing. Some fans blamed his poor game performance on being distracted by the trip. Taylor doesn’t want history to repeat herself and she doesn’t want to be blamed if Kansas City loses the Super Bowl next week. THAT’S why she and only she, insisted Travis not attend the Grammys. Smart girl!

Banned Brett Ratner Hair! Sally Hershberger

BRETT RATNER: NO MORE FANCY HAIRCUTS, EITHER!

This is the best news we’ve heard all day. According to the Hollywood Reporter, those fancy offices on the Warner Bros. lot aren’t ALL that former Wonder Woman producer Brett Ratner, 48, has lost due to his sexual misconduct with women. He’s suddenly found that he isn’t welcome in some places WHERE WOMEN ARE IN CHARGE! Case in point: The Sally Hershberger Hair Salon in West Hollywood. (Sally is responsible for Meg Ryan’s famous ‘do and she gets $600 for a haircut.) Until recently Brett was a steady customer at the luxury salon, but he’s been told he is no longer welcome there! We love Sally for that.

SOUTH BEACH DOESN’T WANT KOURTNEY AND KIM TO INVADE THEIR SPACE

“Kardashian banning” might become a trend this year. South Beach has refused to allow Kim and Kourtney Kardashian to film their reality show and the girls and their film crew had to relocate fifteen miles away in a gated community in a decidedly unglamorous Miami neighborhood. The Miami Beach office of film and print didn’t grant the show “Kourtney and Kim Take Miami” the necessary permits to film in fashionable South Beach. The show, which airs in January, started filming last week wherever they can.

Banned Oscars Sacha Baron Cohen The Dictator

CAN YOU IMAGINE THE OSCARS WITHOUT SACHA BARON COHEN?

We are SO upset to hear that Sacha Baron Cohen has been banned from the Oscars! According to Deadline.com, Cohen was expected to attend with the cast of his movie Hugo but the Academy has pulled his tickets even though he’s an Academy member! The reason is that Cohen submitted a proposal to the Academy that he walk the red carpet in full costume as his title character in The Dictator, with the intention of donning a tuxedo after that for the show. The straitlaced Academy didn’t just TURN DOWN the idea, they banned him altogether. Must this dull award show be taken so SERIOUSLY?

Iranian police have been shutting down toy stores that sell the forbidden icon of Western culture: Barbie dolls. The government fears little girls who play with the dolls won’t want to grow up and be marginalized and forced to wear head coverings. They’ll want to wear miniskirts and drive convertibles. Barbie has been banned since the mid 90’s and Iranians attempted to produce a modest knockoff doll draped in black, but – surprise – it didn’t sell. Those little girls want fashion, too. So they were surprised when she suddenly started calling them, making plans to get together, inviting them places, and buttering them up, in general. It finally dawned on them that Paris’s attentiveness increased as their reality show became more popular and she wanted to make guest appearances. The second season is now in preparation and Kim and Kyle have declared that Paris will NOT be soaking up their limelight – she’s banned from the show.

Elton John managed to offend a whole lot of people with a few offhand comments he made to Parade Magazine not long ago and we kind of love him for it. According to our clever comrades in gossip at The Evil Beet, Elton mused “I think Jesus was a compassionate super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems.” He also blabbed “Try being a gay woman in the Middle East – you’re as good as dead!” In one fell swoop Elton enraged the Christian community and the Middle East. As a result, a Georgia man was arrested for plotting to murder Elton on YouTube, and Elton has been banned from performing in Egypt. Not to worry, Elton, we’re on your side.
