There’s nothing we love more than BEFORE and AFTER photos – especially when it involves beautification. Rebel Wilson spends a lot of time at the gym and she had a bad case of the frizzies today. She headed straight for the Nine Zero One salon on Melrose Place for a blowdry. (They go for $75 and up.) She walked out with smooth hair and feeling like a million bucks.

Those girls on Shahs of Sunset are constantly upgrading their looks since they became reality stars. Both Mercedes “MJ” Javid and Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi voluntarily provided before and after photos of their new and improved bodies to TMZ. MJ gave the website a flattering bathing suit pinup shot that may have been photoshopped, to replace a chubby photo from two years ago. GG actually had plastic surgery (fat transfer from belly to buttocks) and she brazenly sent TMZ before and after photos – she probably got the surgery free for publicizing the plastic surgeon. Above, the girls are leaving Craig’s restaurant after dinner.

Nicki Minaj’s new visibility on American Idol brings up the subject of her plastic surgery all over again. The first time we saw Nicki with her out-of-proportion large hips and enormous backside we were in shock. We couldn’t imagine what kind of plastic surgeon would DO that to a person! You can never buy clothes off the rack again! Most women we know would kill to have SMALLER hips and butts. But Nicki is obviously thrilled with her new caboose and flaunts it at every opportunity. So it DOES take all kinds!

This should be a consolation to all high school girls who assume they will never grow up to be glamorous. In 2002, Gossip Girl star Blake Lively attended Burbank High School and she had not yet blossomed into the leading lady she was to become. However, she WAS a cheerleader so the spark was there. With the help of her orthodontist, she went on to become not only a TV and movie star, but the face of Chanel – perhaps the most envied accomplishment of all.

Yikes! Kathy Griffin wasn’t exaggerating when she said she’s had tons of plastic surgery! We just saw these photos of Kathy from her 1976 yearbook and we wouldn’t have recognized her in a million years! Teenage Kathy was a cheerleader in high school and we’re betting she was loads of fun, but she was no beauty queen. When she was 26 she got her first nose job and started the self – improvement ball rolling. We have to give her credit for making herself over – at 51 she looks much better than she did as a teen!
Lisa Rinna has been talking a lot about her recent upper lip reduction to correct the silicone enhancement she overdid years ago. She wants to look her best for her new series “Harry Loves Lisa.” She says her lip is still swollen but already an improvement. Lisa’s hoping to be taken off all those “bad plastic surgery” lists. We wonder why she waited so long to do it.
