It doesn’t happen all that often, but it appears that a very ordinary guy has won the heart of supermodel Bella Hadid. Her last boyfriend was The Weeknd, so Bella is obviously accustomed to dating good looking famous men with lots of money. She’s kept her current boyfriend (since 2020) pretty much undercover until recently. Marc Kalman, 33, is an up and coming art director, who does a lot of album covers and fashion work – that’s how they met. He’s nowhere near as successful as Bella, but she obviously doesn’t care. He’s no match for her in the looks department either. Her family really LIKES him and Bella seems quite content with him, so ordinary guys DO win sometimes…

YOLANDA HADID: FROM MODEL MOM TO VILLAIN

Former Real Housewife of Beverly Hills Yolanda Hadid is having a bad year. First she managed to cause the break-up of her daughter Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik, the father of her 1 year old child. It seems Yolanda was on their Pennsylvania farm with Zayn and the baby and they had an argument. Yolanda claimed that Zayn not only insulted her but physically assaulted her. She pressed charges and Zayn pleaded “No contest” although he denied charges to the press. Zayn and Gigi haven’t been seen together since. This week Yolanda’s other daughter Bella Hadid admitted to Vogue that she had a nose job at the age of 14 that she now regrets. The internet blew up with fans jumping all over Yolanda – calling her a horrible mother for allowing a 14 year old to have plastic surgery.

EVEN BELLA HADID WAS WARNED: NO SELFIES ON THE RED CARPET AT CANNES!

The models always seem to out-do the actresses on the red carpet at the opening ceremony for the Cannes Film festival. Bella Hadid’s dress had a long train and following her up the stairs was a man scooting around, arranging the long train on the floor behind her for maximum effect. Probably hired by the designer of the gown. Whether Bella actually has anything to do with the festival is unknown, but she livened up the event for the paparazzi, and her designer will no doubt get a lot of publicity. The antiquated dress code on the red carpet has loosened slightly, but this year everyone invited was sternly warned NOT to take red carpet selfies – or they could be banned from screenings.

We have to congratulate the sharp-eyed paparazzi who recognized Bella and Gigi Hadid, along with Gigi’s new baby in a stroller, when they slipped out the back door of their NY building and took a walk in Soho. They girls played it down by dressing in head-to-toe black, with hair tucked into hats, dark glasses and black masks. How the photographers spotted them is a mystery. Did their expensive clothes or footwear draw attention? Recently Paul McCartney admitted that he loves wearing a mask because now he can go everywhere and anywhere and not be noticed. Apparently it doesn’t work for models.
