LAURA PREPON: LEAVING SCIENTOLOGY IS NOT EASY!

It’s a tangled web that Scientology weaves. This week Orange is the New Black actress Laura Prepon stated that she has not been involved in Scientology for the past five years – around the time she started dating her now-husband Ben Foster. She also emphasized that Ben has NEVER been a member of the church. Turns out that Laura was drawn into Scientology in the late 90’s by her That 70’s Show costar (and lifetime Scientologist) Danny Masterson.The “church” no doubt rewarded Danny handsomely for recruiting a celebrity. Laura also dated Danny’s brother Christopher for 8 years. Coincidentally, Ben Foster was Danny’s BFF during the early 2000’s and people assumed HE was a Scientologist also. Ben claims he wasn’t and now whenever Laura talks about leaving the church, she makes it a point to mention that Ben was never a member. Now that Danny Masterson is up on rape charges by several women, and the “church” is accused of a cover-up, celebrity Scientologists are distancing themselves, and we hope some ARE really cutting ties. We continue to theorize that the church helps celebrity members avoid paying taxes on their big incomes by faking and writing off huge church contributions – among other things- and they make it VERY difficult to leave. If only churches paid taxes like everyone else, this would all end!

It looks like accused three-time rapist Danny Masterson has masterminded another Scientology coupling. TMZ reported that Hell or High Water star Ben Foster, 37, and Orange is the New Black star Laura Prepon, 38, applied for a marriage license at City Hall. (They already have a child together.) Masterson and Laura costarred on That 70’s Show and Ben Foster has been his best friend for years. You KNOW how Scientologists must marry within the “church” or bad things happen. Ben is an undercover Scientologist while Laura is OUT. It all makes you WONDER if Danny’s other close friends (and 70’s Show costars) Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are undercover Scientologists too!

Months after splitting with his longtime girlfriend/fiancée Robin Wright, Ben Foster, 35, has put a ring on Orange is the New Black star Laura Prepon, 36, who happens to be a longtime enthusiastic Scientologist. And her thetan finger would never have welcomed a ring from anyone NOT into Scientology! Let’s face it- Ben has been a friend of high – ranking Scientologist Danny Masterson for YEARS, and Laura has also. And Ben has never confirmed or denied his attachment to Scientology. COME HELL OR HIGH WATER – DON’T MISS THIS MOVIE!

Hell or High Water is a classic American movie that we can all be proud of. It’s far better than we could have imagined. And this is coming from a WOMAN sick to death of all-male violent movies! But, good is good. How often do you find a brilliant and sensitive script combined with exquisite photography and perfectly cast actors? Who knew Star Trek robot Chris Pine was such a touching and appealing actor! He finally got the role that will change his career. His relationship with his bat-crazy brother, played skillfully by Ben Foster, is what life is all about. Even if this movie doesn’t appeal to you on paper – give it a chance. You won’t be sorry.

LOOKS LIKE BEN FOSTER IS GOING OVER TO THE OTHER SIDE

Yep, all things point to Ben Foster being a Scientologist. When Robin Wright called off their engagement last year, it was rumored that he was trying to get HER interested in Scientology but she wanted nothing to do with it. While Ben was seeing Robin he stopped hanging out with his best friend Danny Masterson (a very active Scientologist) and their Scientology group of friends. But as soon as they split, Ben was back with his friends Danny, Jason Lee etc. In fact Ben started dating Scientologist Laura Prepon (Orange is the New Black) in June and he seems quite comfortable tucked into that Scientology crowd.

We always felt bad for Robin Wright when she was married to Sean Penn because he made her and their kids live in northern California while he caroused in Los Angeles. He tried to make himself look like a hero by claiming his family “wasn’t safe” living in LA. Ridiculous. Robin had a difficult time maintaining her career at that time, but she was always supportive of Sean’s. So we are really happy to hear that Robin, 46, and her young boyfriend Ben Foster, 32, who resembles Penn in both looks and acting technique, but hopefully not in personality, are still together after more than a year and she seems quite happy. They met in 2011 while filming “Rampart.” Recently, temperamental Sean has been whining that he “never felt loved” – maybe because he’s never been very lovable. (Don’t forget he once tied up his then- wife Madonna on Thanksgiving and threatened to stick her head in the oven.)

SEAN PENN HAS HIS OWN EVE CARRINGTON: IT’S BEN FOSTER

Ben Foster (the crazy killer in “3:10 to Yuma”) nervously paced outside, as the movie destined to make him a major player was screened in Beverly Hills. “The Messenger” is a very intense and exceedingly well done film about the military guys who have the difficult job of notifying families when a soldier is killed. Ben’s performance immediately brought to mind the fact that if Sean Penn were twenty-five years younger, he would have had the part. It was just his kind of role – a cocky character with hidden sensitivity. One can’t help but compare the two actors. Ironically, or maybe not, Sean showed up for the screening.
