JOEL MADDEN: SOME THINGS CANNOT BE EXPLAINED

We’ve been watching and kinda curious about Good Charlotte musicians Joel Madden and his twin brother Benji for a LONG time. First of all, we have never seen EITHER one when he was not wearing a baseball cap! And we’re talking YEARS! And for ALL occasions, indoors and out! Joel WAS seen without his baseball cap at his wedding to Nicole Richie in 2010. The next (and last) time he had a bare head was Valentines Day in 2015 when Joel and Benji and their wives double dated. The brothers are nice looking and probably not bald, but they choose to hide behind hats and beards ALL THE TIME! Yet both married well – Nicole Richie and Cameron Diaz – famous and well-off women who seem to be EXTREMELY happy with their covered-up husbands…

BENJI MADDEN: WHAT’S GOING ON WITH YOUR PANTS?

Here’s an example of a guy who carries WAY too much stuff in his pockets. This is above and beyond a wallet and keys. It’s time for Benji Madden to consider buying a backpack or maybe a briefcase – or even a man-purse. Pants can only carry so much. Frankly, we’re surprised that Cameron Diaz let her husband out of the house looking like this. Along with the scraggly beard, Benji is not looking like a rock star sipping his Starbucks coffee. But perhaps Cameron is happy with that – their marriage seems to be quite successful.

WHY DID CAMERON DIAZ RETIRE FROM ACTING – AND DISAPPEAR FROM PUBLIC LIFE?

Coincidentally or not, when Cameron Diaz married Benji Madden, she just about vanished from the face of the earth. Not long after, and for no apparent reason, she announced her retirement from acting. Has Benji Madden quietly taken control of her life? Cameron was a very successful Hollywood actress with more than 40 movies under her belt, and she amassed quite a lot of money. Certainly she can AFFORD to retire – but why would she? Not only has she barely left the house for the past few years, but at age 47 she suddenly announced she is a mother, and a baby girl appeared. The once friendly and talkative actress, who never appeared to be pregnant, is very secretive and won’t share any info about where the baby came from. She has changed – a lot. Mysterious Benji has always dated women who are famous and successful – but to his credit, everyone says he’s an exceptionally decent guy (doesn’t drink or do drugs) – despite his unfortunate penchant for facial hair and baseball caps. IS he influencing Cameron to give up her career? We think so.

THE MADDEN BROTHERS ARE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT

In case you haven’t noticed, identical twins Joel and Benji Madden’s wives are two of the happiest women in Hollywood! And both Nicole Richie and Cameron Diaz are extremely attractive and wealthier than their husbands! The explanation is simple: these ordinary looking guys know how to behave and how to treat women. Yes they’re musicians, but neither of the brothers has ever used alcohol or drugs! They may not LOOK particularly refined, but they have exceptional manners and bend over backwards to treat their women well and raise their children right. Their relationships have always lasted a long time and their marriages probably will too! These twins should write a book.

HOW DID BENJI AND JOEL MADDEN GET SO LUCKY?

Back in the earlier 2000’s, we used to wonder what was so attractive about the brothers Benji and Joel Madden from the band Good Charlotte. The twins were okay looking, but they managed to date the biggest celebrities in Hollywood – actresses, models etc. And they actually came close to MARRYING most of the women they dated. Eventually a friend of theirs confided that Benji and Joel (Rolling Stone Magazine called them “The Polite Punks”) are actually super-decent guys. They work hard, don’t drink or use drugs, have good manners, and love their mother. THAT’S why they appeal to successful women like Nicole Richie and Cameron Diaz! Anyway, the 38 year old twins recently had lunch together at Joan’s on Third and probably talked about how lucky they are…

We used to see photos of Cameron Diaz out and about all the time but since she married Benji Madden we don’t even see her going to the gym. What HAS she been up to? Rumor has it she’s doing some serious research and conducting interviews to find the right surrogate to carry her and Benji’s baby! Cameron wants a family and after careful consideration, has decided this is the best way to achieve her dream.

They only got married a few weeks ago, but ever since then Cameron Diaz has been wearing her husband Benji’s favorite color: black. Naturally we assume that our prediction is correct – they married in a big hurry because Cameron is pregnant. This weekend the couple went out on a double date with Benji’s twin Joel Madden and Nicole Richie to Giorgio Baldi. ALL FOUR wore black, perhaps in support of Cameron, who is keeping her secret. She’s not in the habit of wearing baggy black wrap-around dresses, so feel free to jump to conclusions. We’re happy for her.

BENJI AND JOEL MADDEN MADE THEIR DREAMS COME TRUE

Benji Madden, 35, must be pinching himself because he can’t believe his good luck. Tonight he’s marrying actress Cameron Diaz, 42, at her 10 million dollar Beverly Hills home. (above) We have a feeling that Benji and his twin brother Joel made a pact when they arrived in Hollywood that they would find and marry wealthy, famous women. They weren’t interested in dating nobodies. Their band Good Charlotte fizzled out and the guys haven’t hit it big in music for awhile. Joel got lucky and married Nicole Richie and they live a very comfortable life with their two kids. Now Benji has landed Cameron, who happens to have a net worth of around 90 million dollars. Here’s a little known fact about the tattooed twins: they don’t drink or do drugs. The marriage is so rushed that we wouldn’t be surprised if Cameron is pregnant already.

Nicole Ritchie doesn’t have to go home to her daddy’s mansion any more. Joel Madden sold the house that Nicole didn’t like in Glendale and bought a new place in the more fashionable Hollywood Hills. Actually he wanted to live closer to his store on Melrose Avenue, anyway. His brother Benji also unloaded his Glendale house (which was a block away from his twin brother’s) and bought a house down the street from Joel’s new place. So they’re still neighbors.

Benji Madden is bouncing back from his split with Paris Hilton by throwing himself into his work. He’s been spending a lot of time working at and promoting his store on Melrose called DCMA.
