He’s in New York promoting- what else- the reboot of Beverly Hills 90210 in which he plays a fictional version of himself. We confess we NEVER would have guessed that his David Silver character would grow up to be a middle aged dad wearing THESE Gucci fur-lined mules! It’s one thing to wear them around the house in Los Angeles, but on TV in Manhattan?

SHANNEN DOHERTY AND HER THIRD HUSBAND ARE DOING PARIS

Third time seems to be the charm for Shannen Doherty. She’s been married to her 3rd husband, photographer Kurt Iswarienko, since 2011 and they’re still going storng, although he WAS married when they met. His work frequently takes him to Europe and right now they’re in Paris enjoying the flea market and restaurants. We remember when she was not so calm – we sneaked into her birthday party at a Hollywood bar when she was on Beverly Hills 90210. During the party we were nervous because she walked up to several strangers and demanded to know “Who invited YOU?” By the end of the evening she was standing in the street outside yelling “I could kill all of you!” Those were, indeed, dramatic times.

Beverly Hills 90210 star Jennie Garth, 40, was photographed in New York, above, with her daughter Lola, 9, and ever since, she’s been tormented by pseudo-concerned reports that she’s “gaunt and emaciated” (This sounds suspiciously like the also-trumped up Demi Moore story) because her divorce is “taking its toll” on her health. Why? She looks perfectly healthy and happy. Granted, her divorce from husband Peter Facinelli was sudden and unexpected, but life goes on, and she has three daughters to keep her busy. Leave Jennie alone – she looks great and ready to start a new life.

In case you were wondering “Whatever happened to Shannen Doherty?” you need to wonder no more – the original Beverly Hills 90210 star is pursuing a college degree! Or so she says in this commercial for Education Connection. Presumably she was so successful as a young actress that she had to put her education on hold, although what she plans to do with a “liberal arts” degree is unknown. (Do employers take online degrees seriously, anyway?)

Jason, who celebrated his 40th birthday at Tabu nightclub at the MGM Grand is pictured here with Kristy Swanson on the left and that’s his wife Naomi bursting out of her dress on the right. If we were to guess Naomi’s profession we’d have to say exotic dancer, but in fact, she is a make up artist.

Just like old times- except for the Rolls Royce. Former high school chums Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth filmed a scene for the new 90210 while cruising Rodeo Drive. The girls look great – even though Tori was given 1970’s Farrah hair, and they’re both happy to be working together again. Fortunately, Tori didn’t say anything embarrassing about Jennie in her book “Stori Telling,” like she did about Shannen Doherty.

The Full House star married well. Lori’s husband is hugely successful designer Mossimo Giannulli, who has a lucrative deal with Target. Here she is with her lookalike daughters Olivia and Isabella, picking up Chinese food at Beverly Glen while Mossimo waits in the car.

BEVERLY HILLS 90210: THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM

There’s been an INORDINATE amount of talk about who’s being brought back from the original cast in the CW’s updated version of Beverly Hills, 90210. Jenny Garth, Ian Ziering, and Tori Spelling have all agreed to come back but the big fat question remains: What about the most identifiable and memorable actor on the show? Shannen “Brenda” Doherty, of course! Her bad-girl exploits (tame compared to the bad girls of today) contributed enormously to making the high school drama a hit. But as Tori Spelling wrote in her book, the rest of the cast grew intolerant of Shannen’s lateness and attitude, and they pushed Aaron Spelling to fire her. Her departure was pretty much the kiss of death for the series. Shannen WOULD get a lot of people tuning in to the new 90210, but her name never comes up! How come?
