STILL HAPPILY UNMARRIED: JOHN CORBETT AND BO DEREK

In 2002 John Corbett, now 56, and Bo Derek, now 60, were both single and a friend fixed them up on a date and they’ve been together ever since. Who would have guessed it would last this long! Bo says she feels no need to get married – they have no kids and they’re not young, so there’s no pressure. They’ve lived together for years, but give each other plenty of space and private time. Whenever we see them, they look really content with each other, despite their 14 inch height difference. The pair showed up at a TV festival in Monaco.

BO DEREK AND JOHN CORBETT ENJOY BEING APART AS MUCH AS THEY LIKE BEING TOGETHER

And they said it wouldn’t last. Back in 2001, “Sex & the City” star John Corbett, 53, confessed that he always had a huge crush on 80’s sex symbol Bo Derek, 57. When he finally met her, they started dating. John has always enjoyed being a bachelor and had no interest in marrying or having children. They’ve been together for twelve years now and Bo says being apart sometimes helps their relationship. John works nonstop – TV, movies, and tons of voice-overs. Bo works occasionally and does a lot of riding at their ranch. Separation makes their hearts grow fonder.

JIM CARREY: PERFECT TEN?

Bo-Derek-cut-C10102252.jpeg
Bo Derek‘s 1979 movie “10” launched a hairstyle fad – beaded braids – and also launched inferiority complexes in millions of females. Who could measure up to her impossible perfection at the TOP of the men’s rating scale for women? The Blake Edwards comedy was a hit and it made Bo a star. Now it’s being remade (yet another example of Hollywood running out of original ideas) but several leading men have turned DOWN the role originated by the late Dudley Moore. (The plot is about a Hollywood songwriter in the throes of mid-life crisis, who goes on vacation in Mexico and becomes infatuated with his dentist’s daughter who is honeymooning there.) Maybe they don’t want to be associated with “mid-life crisis” – but Hugh Grant and Dennis Quaid both turned the role down. We hear Jim Carrey has accepted and hope he can keep his face under control for this one. Now the search is on for a modern-day “10” female costar – we think it will be difficult to top Bo. Any suggestions?

NEW UPDATE CHECK IT OUT - HOLLYWOOD WHODUNIT!

  • HOLLYWOOD WHODUNIT: LOOK WHO’S NOT TALKING ABOUT HARVEY WEINSTEIN !
    |

We love every one of Harvey Weinstein’s female accusers – but what about the actresses who AREN’T talking? One actress who won an Oscar in the 90’s has been CONSPICUOUSLY SILENT about the casting couch scandal. It’s because SHE has had a long-term “arrangement” with Harvey in which she traded sex for showbiz favors and it must have been awful, but her career prospered. Now this A-lister is horrified at the prospect of being found out! And, guess what – she’s NOT the only one who’s conspicuously silent!
    Any guesses?
