KANYE: THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKING

We’ve been talking about those big clunky boots by Balenciaga that Kanye West has worn every day for the past few months because they seem to be inappropriate for ALL occasions. But they finally came in handy! Kanye paid an unexpected visit to the Skechers shoe company in Manhattan Beach yesterday and he walked through offices like he owned the place – before he was recognized. We had to laugh when Daily Mail revealed that an office source told them that Kanye was allowed inside because at first he was mistaken for the building’s gardener- thanks to the big BOOTS! After a short conversation, executives escorted Kanye and his companions outside.

Bad Fashion Boots Rihanna Worst Dressed

SORRY RIHANNA: WORST DRESSED THIS WEEK

Hands down- no competition- Rihanna takes the award for Worst Dressed this week. What WAS she thinking? A woman in the fashion business should know better. Rihanna combined a very short cropped denim micro miniskirt with gigantic baggy boots- granted, there is a peek-a-boo element, but the boots make her look like a truck from every angle. They are probably designer boots that cost a fortune, but why pay a ton of money to look shorter and wider? Grossly unflattering.

Boots Cement Chinese Theater Diane Keaton Feet Walk of Fame

WHY DIANE KEATON CHOSE BARE FEET FOR WALK OF FAME

Diane Keaton was giddy with excitement today because she put her handprints and footprints in cement in front of the Chinese Theater on Hollywood Blvd. She took a close look at the wet cement and decided no way was she going to dip her $1300 Maxfield black boots into THAT! So she sat down and removed her expensive boots and polka dot socks and used her BARE FEET for the footprints. Come to think of it, she might be the ONLY pair of bare feet on the Walk of Fame. Her adopted kids, Dexter, 27, and Duke, 22, were at the ceremony to cheer her on.

KIEFER SUTHERLAND AND HIS KINKY BOOTS

Sure, he LOOKS dapper, but Kiefer Sutherland suffers from “old boot syndrome.” The actor is nicely dressed for a stroll in New York wearing a dark coat and jaunty blue scarf, but when you look at his feet, it’s another story. Colin Farrell is another actor with the same idiosyncratic condition. Both guys have a favorite old pair of broken-in boots they simply cannot part with. Colin’s are his “lucky boots’ and he’s superstitious. Kiefer’s are comfortable and the heel height is just right. They both enjoy the fact that their boots are beat up and distressed looking. New and shiny is simply not as cool. We don’t know of any women with this disorder.

Doesn’t she realize that bad things happen to feet this exposed in the bustling city? Ironically, it was her boyfriend Justin Theroux’s big black boots that ultimately were her downfall. Jennifer says Justin took a step in the wrong direction and broke her toe. Ouch. That wouldn’t happen to Meg Ryan.

Ashley Tisdale (“High School Musical,” “Hellcats”) isn’t usually one our radar but she’s Christmas shopping in some unusual boots. Not only are they on very high platforms but they lace all the way up to the top thigh. Putting them on can’t be so easy and taking them off to try something on would be a real nuisance. But she looks quite proud of her impractical footwear.

Christoph plays a volatile animal trainer for a circus in “Water for Elephants” and apparently he gives Rob Pattinson’s character a hard time. Reese Witherspoon plays Waltz’s long suffering wife.
