We had hoped that her manager/boyfriend Jason Trawick might be an inspiring influence, but instead of Britney achieving any style, Jason is starting to look like Chuck Norris.

EXHIBITIONISM IS OK AT THE STANDARD HOTEL IN HOLLYWOOD

The Standard hotel in New York is creating quite a stir thanks to their exhibitionistic guests. The hipster hotel features floor to ceiling windows and guests are fond of stripping and performing x-rated acts in full view of the public in the park below. Oddly enough, the Standard in West Hollywood has always featured these nudie acts in their windows but no one has ever complained. Probably because the windows face the pool and people at the pool have always found it highly entertaining. A topless Britney Spears is rumored to have been featured in the window show and former hard partiers Robert Downey Jr, Leonardo Dicaprio, and Eminem were regular voyeurs in the past. Spontaneity is encouraged at this hotel – they have vending machines at the poolside bar that sell Quicksilver bikinis and board shorts.

Kevin Federline tagged along with his exwife Britney Spears for her concert in New Orleans. Apparently he’s supposed to be keeping an eye on their boys. He spent the afternoon in the hotel bar and came outside for a smoke and that’s when he was photographed. Hefty Kevin is the opposite of a “lollipop head” skinny girl – he’s more of a “pin head” with a bigger body.

Britney Spears put on a cute checkered jacket to peruse the hip Harajuku district in Japan. She was accompanied by and assistant, a bodyguard, and presumably a translator. After a busy day of shopping, she ignored the fanciful Japanese restaurants and headed for something familiar: a modest burger joint (comparable to McDonald’s) called Lotteria.

2001: Justin Timberlake must have been the happiest kid in town on Christmas morning. His girlfriend Britney Spears spent $100,000 on a frantic hour long shopping spree in Beverly Hills just for him. She dropped $15000 at Prada on a leather coat, luggage, and $500 combat boots. Her $50,000 purchases at Gucci included an $8000 leather jacket, a $4000 suit and a thousand dollar sterling beltbuckle. At Armani she loaded up on cashmere sweaters in every color and she ended up at Barneys gathering up a cashmere blanket, an organizer, binoculars and more clothes. Some guys have all the luck.

Britney Spears couldn’t resist attending Robin Thicke’s performance at the House of Blues Thursday night even though the experience was bittersweet. Brit has long harbored a crush on Robin – back in 2004 she reportedly was seen with him a few times, looking affectionate. (This was before she met Kevin Federline.) No romance developed but she admitted she was very fond of him and would like to have gotten to know him better. Robin’s happily married now, so Britney’s just another fan with a backstage pass.

Farrah Fawcett opened QUITE a can of worms when she complained to UCLA hospital that medical information about her cancer treatment had been leaked to The National Enquirer. An internal investigation turned up administrative specialist LaWanda Jackson as the perp, and she’s facing criminal charges for viewing a thousand patients’ personal records without a legitimate reason. But as the hospital investigated further, LaWanda turned out to be the tip of the iceberg. Actually, closer to 127 nosey employees had peeked at celebrities’ records – including Britney Spears’. The hospital is in a dither – they can’t fire EVERYONE! Layoffs and penalties are in the works.

MADONNA IS TAKING BRITNEY UNDER HER WING

Madonna has reached out to Britney Spears and this weekend Britney is set to film video footage that will appear on the big screens on Madonna’s “Sticky and Sweet” tour. Madonna also wants Britney to perform in person for several of her concert dates. The UK’s Sun newspaper says Madonna want to give Britney some career guidance and get her back on track. That also includes, we presume, plenty of Kabbalah brainwashing. Still, it IS a major opportunity for Britney. (Interesting how they’ve both changed since this photo was taken. Madonna looks better – Britney doesn’t.)

Britney Spears have six new men in her life and not one of them is a photographer or a boyfriend. In case you hadn’t noticed, she is now shadowed by armed guards trained by the Israeli military. She’s shelling out $25,000 a week for the hired muscle and now her every move is watched by at least two guards, all the time. Her private security forces check out all restaurants, hair salons, even coffee shops – before she enters. (For WHAT, we can’t imagine.) Britney can boast that she has the best security in Hollywood – presumably they protect her from everything, including herself.

Michael Jackson was the surprise guest (he didn’t sing) at the huge birthday party of Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigiers at the Peterson Auto Museum last night. Britney Spears was also there also in another too-tight outfit. It was a fashiony crowd and Michael looked sadly dated in his satin embroidered shirt and shiny pants. Christian Audigiers has a major celebrity following (that means he gives them loads of free clothes.) Remember – he used to be the designer for Von Dutch. A few years ago, it was revealed that the original Von Dutch – a rockabilly hot rod customizer from the 50’s – when he was alive, was an alleged racist and nazi sympathizer! Christian bolted from that company name and started his own Ed Hardy line, based on a tattoo artist with no known negative attributes.

BARBRA STREISAND'S MALIBU COMPOUND IS DETERIORATING AT AN ALARMING RATE

Back in the early 90’s, When Barbra Streisand couldn’t sell her compound in Malibu after five years of trying, she donated the 12 million dollar Ramirez Canyon property to the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy. Barbra purchased the original house and land in 1974 – through the years she added more land until there was a total of four houses and over 22 acres. When she gave it to the city she got a massive tax write-off and never looked back. The Conservancy was grateful, but needed a LOT of money to maintain the houses and lush grounds that include a stream and several bridges. At first the Conservancy rented out the place for weddings and conducted private tours to pay the upkeep. But neighbors (Britney Spears is two houses away) got riled up and banned tours or wedding parties on their private gated street. Now the four once exquisite houses are falling into ruin – rats, water damage, and neglect. Barbra’s pricey leather outdoor furniture is in tatters. The hand carved wood is warping. The grand piano that Paul Simon gave her is out of tune. Without revenue, the conservancy is just letting the houses fall apart and they don’t know WHAT will be done with the property. It’s a sad, wasteful story.

WHAT REALLY HAPPENED WHEN BRITNEY APPEARED ON "HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER"

Okay, so Britney upped the ratings on “How I Met Your Mother” and she seemed to do a decent job of acting. BUT we’re hearing that the whole episode was aggravating for everyone on the set. An insider on the show revealed that Britney’s cameo caused havoc. The usually peaceful set was invaded by bodyguards stationed everywhere, detaining all who entered. Everyone on the set, -crew, extras etc – even the actors- were expected to wear WRISTBANDS for access to their own show! (It didn’t set well with the show’s stars.) Photographers were perched on roofs, in the parking structure, and surrounded the set. Helicopters buzzed overhead. Most of the actors on the show never even met Britney because she was always surrounded by beefy security. They heaved a sigh of relief when she left. Anyone seeking to hire Britney has to factor in this stressful chaos and upheaval that follows wherever she goes. Is it worth it?
