Burberry Men in Skirts

MEN IN SKIRTS ARE HERE TO STAY

Better get used to the idea of men in skirts, because a LOT of designers – even rather conservative ones- are showing them for Fall/Winter 2021 in London. Burberry is not known for flamboyant fashion and even THEY are promoting skirts – mostly pleated and layered – but definitely skirts. In winter, no less. They even featured skirts with athletic letter jackets like high school lettermen wear. The model in this photo looks reasonably macho with his layers and backpack, but those boots are a surprise – or are they tights…?

ROMEO BECKHAM IS LIVING UP TO HIS NAME

David and Victoria Beckham aren’t the only celebrities in the family. Eleven year old Romeo happens to be a model for Burberry and was invited to a big Burberry party at their Regent Street store. A Burberry spokesman raved about Romeo – he was surprised to learn that Romeo really CARED about the clothes and loves fashion like his mother. Teen heartthrob Harry Styles, 18, of the UK pop band One Direction showed up without the rest of his band members at the Burberry show in London. Dubbed ”the charming one” in his boy band, Harry happens to have a thing for older women. His last girlfriend was 15 years older than he was. We imagine he was secretly thrilled to be seated next to burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese in the front row of the fashion show. Could a fella ask for more?
