CASPER SMART: WHO CAN RESIST A CHOLO?

Certainly not us – we fell in love with Cholo style when we moved to LA decades ago. Jennifer Lopez’s ex Casper Smart knows the power of the Cholo look and he dressed up like one for Wilmer Valderrama’s Halloween party. Now that he’s single, he probably looking for action. He COULD have improved a bit on his look however. The khaki pants should be several sizes bigger and longer – cinched at the waist. Instead of a gold chain he should have a big cross. The bandanna is fine, but a hairnet would have been even better. Finally Casper has all the wrong posture – his chin should be UP so he’s looking down at everyone, and his feet should be turned out. Oh, and the mustache should DROOP. That’s all.

Not only did she resume her romance with her backup dancer Casper Smart, but she got him an acting job on her cop show “Shades of Blue.” Above, he filmed a scene with Jen’s costar Ray Liotta. Remember, when Jennifer is on a concert tour- she hires Casper as her choreographer. So being Jennifer Lopez’s boyfriend is highly profitable.

Casper Smart and Jennifer Lopez and her kids crossed the border in San Diego headed for a Mexican vacation. We wondered why Jennifer seemed so happy and relaxed for the past few months since she and Casper “split up.” Usually she’s miserable when she doesn’t have a man in her life. Recently it’s become evident that the split was only for a few weeks and they’ve been secretly together all this time. Looks like Casper has put on a few pounds since we saw him last.

SO WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH JENNIFER LOPEZ AND CASPER SMART BEING ON THE ROCKS?

It makes sense that Jennifer Lopez might be growing a little weary of her two year romance with 18 years younger dancer Casper Smart. Back when Jen was splitting with her husband Marc Anthony, Casper was her rock and a shoulder to lean on. In the beginning Jennifer enjoyed the youthful thrill of “forbidden” romance as the two sneaked around and kissed backstage. Casper fit right into Jennifer’s schedule and she never had to go on the road alone. That’s the benefit of dating someone on your payroll. But eventually it can become annoying when one partner brings in all the money and the other doesn’t contribute. Casper might have become too comfortable and took J.Lo for granted. They’ve had a long run, but the odds are against this lasting much longer.

Jennifer looks particularly pretty this night in her ballerina length tulle dress. You’ve got to hand it to Jen – she doesn’t need photoshopping to look great in her close-ups.

Marc Anthony brought his girlfriend Shannon de Lima and his other son Ryan, 9, is in the photo also. But conspicuously absent is Marc’s exwife and the mother of his two sons, Dayanara Torres.
