“Dear John” was number one at the box office this weekend – and ousting ”Avatar” is quite an accomplishment. Of course, it’s possible that lots of women went to see Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried while their boyfriends and husbands watched Super Bowl football, but the timing for a love story was definitely right.

We heard a rumor that “Step Up” costars Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan are getting married this weekend. It makes sense. They’ve been engaged since September and said they planned to marry “soon.” We hope it’s true. She’s a gem and he appreciates her – they make a great couple. Does anyone know anything about this?
UPDATE : We were right! Jenna and Channing got married in Malibu Saturday.

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have been a couple since they met while filming “Step Up” in 2006. It’s nice to see longevity in Hollywood and Jenna is flashing a huge diamond engagement ring. We’d frankly rather see Channing dance than fight, but we dragged ourselves to a screening of his new movie “Fighting” and were pleasantly surprised. The plot is predictable, but Channing is an eyeful in his wifebeater, and he and Terrence Howard are fun to watch. (The fights aren’t overly graphic so girls won’t hate it.) The expansive scenes of New York are mesmerizing and the soundtrack is slammin’. Give it a look.

It’s nice to see that Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum are still a happy couple. They’ve been together since the summer of 2006 when their dance movie “Step Up” came out. They’re both amazing dancers but they’re not out clubbing very often. Jenna knows how rare it is to find a hot guy who’s straight and can really dance. Cute Jenna was a factor in the legendary Justin Timberlake bustup with Britney Spears some years back.

Sorry to break it to you, but the hottest new guy in town is already taken! Channing Tatum, the hunkalicious and athletic costar of Step Up, and his leading lady Jenna Dewan are officially an item! The movie is worth seeing just for their hot dance numbers and apparently it’s doing surprisingly good boxoffice. Jenna confessed she and Channing have been together since the movie wrapped. Cute Jenna gained fame when she was said to have been a factor in the breakup of Justin and Britney. Channing and his shaved head are a revelation in this movie. This is a hot new couple to watch.
