CHRIS PINE HAD A MAKEOVER

Chris Pine turned up at the ZEGNA luxury menswear show in Milan along with Andrew Garfield and several handsome Italian actors -they were outside the location before the show started, posing for photos. Looks like Zegna offered them a deal they couldn’t refuse and they became walking ads for the label. It’s apparent that Chris had a total makeover because he never looked more refined. He is usually seen dashing around Los Feliz wearing baggy shorts or sweats with Birkenstocks, going to and from yoga classes, etc. Zegna not only dressed him but they blew out his hair and trimmed his usually scraggly beard. Those mint green linen pleated pants with the tan t-shirt make him look VERY Italian. Apparently the brown leather loafers hurt so he took them off. Watch for Chris’s next film Poolman – he not only co-wrote it, he produced, directed, and stars in it!

Chris Pine Five Days at Memorial Premier Robert Pine

THIS TIME IT’S NOT CHRIS PINE’S PREMIERE

Here’s a switch. Chris Pine and his father Robert Pine are at the Netflix premiere of the Apple limited series Five Days at Memorial– they are often seen together at opening nights for Chris’s movies, but this happens to be the premiere of Robert’s project. (You might remember, Robert Pine starred on CHiPs with Erik Estrada and Larry Wilcox– he played Joe, their exasperated supervisor/boss.) Five Days at Memorial is a true story about a catastrophically damaged New Orleans hospital and what happened there after Hurricane Katrina- both natural disaster and human error. The best thing about this photo is seeing Chris without a beard.

FURTHER PROOF THAT BEARDS MAKE ATTRACTIVE MEN LOOK AWFUL

Would you look twice sat this man? Probably not. Why do attractive men grow grey beards that make them look older and less clean? We have been trying to solve this mystery for years with no success. Men spend time and money for equipment to maintain these unappealing beards , simply because they see other guys growing them. There is a whole generation of young women who are unaccustomed to seeing clean- shaven guys. In the future these men might look back and wince at what they used to think was appealing…

ANOTHER REASON TO LOVE CHRIS PINE

We don’t hear this very often- Chris Pine ADMITS he hates modern technology. Even the internet. He totally avoids social media and finds most of it time wasting or toxic. Do you remember when he gave up his Smartphone and started using a flip phone because he felt he wanted to simplify his life when he was not working? So it makes sense that the Wonder Woman star also appreciates old cars. (Who needs a back-up camera?) He’s had several old Porsches, but we love this vintage red Alfa-Romeo convertible. He’s got the right HAIR for this vehicle…

CHRIS PINE’S SHIRT SCREAMS “LOOK OVER HERE!”

If Chris Pine wants to avoid attention from paparazzi, he shouldn’t wear a Ruth Bader Ginsberg t-shirt! Or maybe he DOES hope to be noticed. The Star Trek captain can be seen most days taking long walks with his girlfriend and isolation-mate Annabelle Wallis in Los Feliz. Note that he’s one of the few celebrities who does NOT walk with his phone in his hand! We see a LOT of paparazzi pix of Chris, but he rarely has a visible phone. AND he is not a fan of social media. But the paparazzi don’t complain that he’s obnoxious to them – we like that.

You can tell that Chris Pine’s girlfriend Annabelle Wallis is from the UK because she’s wearing a tweed coat in LA. It’s also clear that Chris is an LA guy because he combined a cashmere hoody with Birkenstock sandals. They were photographed approaching Gelsen’s market with some trepidation today, but they walked out smiling, having found most of what they wanted, with no indication of hoarding. We didn’t realize that Star Trek star Chris, 39, is Quentin Tarantino’s favorite actor “in his age range.”

CHRIS PINE STILL GOES TO BOOKSTORES, BUT NOW HE’S NOT ALONE

Chris Pine, 38, never seems to flaunt his girlfriends, so it’s not easy to keep tabs on his love life. Last we heard, he was dating a model from Iceland. But for the past year, he’s been quietly keeping company with English actress Annabelle Wallis, 34, best known for some UK show Peaky Binders. The pair even vacationed with Chris’s parents last summer. We like that he’s found someone close to his age who enjoys going to bookstores, above, like he does.

CHRIS PINE: MORE THAN JUST A PRETTY FACE

One glance at this photo of Chris Pine looking quite snazzy and relatively clean-shaven, and we assumed he’s been working on a project that takes place in the 1950’s. We were RIGHT- he’s promoting his TNT drama I Am the Night, directed by Wonder Woman’s Patty Jenkins. It’s inspired by a true story about an adopted teen living in Reno who makes an astonishing discovery about her past that causes her to go to LA to find her real family, thus opening a huge can of worms. Chris Pine plays a reporter obsessed with her story – unlike many actors, Chris has no ego problems with playing second fiddle to a female lead.

When is the last time you saw a REALLY HANDSOME man? In a sea of baseball caps and beards, a looker of Chris Pine’s caliber is a rare find. Nice to see him cleaned up for the London premier of his movie Outlaw King. Chris is very under the radar when it comes to his private life, and it’s entirely possible you didn’t know he has a girlfriend. He was first seen with British actress Annabelle Wallis in April, and they’ve been together ever since. She’s met Chris’s parents – they vacationed together on a yacht in Italy in August. So this handsome man is taken.

CHRIS PINE: NO HAIR, DON’T CARE!

MOST actors, when promoting their movies, make sure they have good hair – even if it involves augmentation. Chris Pine shocked us when he showed up at the CinemaCon convention in Las Vegas looking quite BALD! Last time we saw him he had one of the best heads of hair in Hollywood. Is he playing a hairless fellow in his next film? It turns out, no, he just shaved his head with clippers at home out of sheer boredom and a desire to look different! He still manages to look appealing. Chris admits that someone at the event mistook him for Jason Statham and he found it amusing.
