Okay, so Colin Farrell has finally acknowledged that he and his girlfriend, Polish actress Alicja Bachleda, welcomed a son, Henry, on October 7. (Alicja was his costar in “Ondine.”) Alicja gave birth in Los Angeles and Colin was just seen at the Michael Jackson “This Is It” premier with another attractive girl. Dos that mean Colin and Alicja are already on the outs? Colin and his last baby mama, model Kim Bordenave, split up not long after their son James, 6, was born, although he remained an active father. Parenthood seems to agree with Colin more than long term relationships.

Bono could barely contain his joy in the warm sun as he walked out of the Chateau Marmont hotel and headed for his sold out concert at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Sunday. Colin Farrell turned up with yet another pretty girl on his arm (just as we think he’s getting serious about someone, he moves on.) In fact, he changes girlfriends WAY more often than he changes his shoes! Despite the fact that hundreds of unhappy people found out they had counterfeit tickets for the U-2 concert (many were purchased on Craig’s List,) there were no riots.

Colin Farrell lost his Irish temper and yelled in the face of a rude photographer at the Toronto International Film Festival on the red carpet. Colin took offense because the guy shouted at Colin’s sister Claudine to “keep moving” so the press could get clear shots of Colin. “Don’t shout at my sister like that!” Colin warned. The paparazzi didn’t realize she was his sister and later apologized. But it is kind of sweet to see Colin defending his sister.

They’re pictured here coming out of an LA restaurant. She must be a good influence, Colin used to be a regular in Hollywood clubs or bars, but he’s not any more.

Before he left Dublin to promote “Pride and Glory” around the world, Colin Farrell got stopped by police for talking on his cell phone while driving. It’s illegal in Dublin. The cops were not the least bit star struck when they realized who he was. He was charged not only with the cellphone violation, but also for not wearing a seatbelt! Later Colin was heard telling friend about the incident and expressing his amazement that they didn’t let him off with just a warning.

You don’t see Colin Farrell walking out of bars these days, usually he’s at the airport, the movies – or leaving a Bristol Farms market, above. Everybody wonders why he looks extra grungy recently – it’s because he played a rough and tumble fisherman in his last movie, and he’s playing one again in the movie he’s doing now called Dirt Music. That explains the hair. The last we heard, he was rumored to be converting to Judaism for his girlfriend Emma Forrest.

Colin Farrell seems perfectly capable of doing his own stunts. He arrived at LAX from Heathrow, and when he saw the photographers he gave them a run for their money. They were particularly impressed with his ability to navigate the terminal with those clunky unlaced boots flapping around. He considers these his “lucky boots” and has admitted he cannot part with them, no matter how decrepit they become. The paparazzi were happy- action shots are always more interesting than smiling poses.

The romance is so serious that they might be getting a place together in Hollywood.

Colin Farrell is baaaack in town and he’s on the prowl again! Colin, looking scrumptiously scruffy in a black t- shirt and jeans, wasted no time at the Lava Lounge tiki bar in Hollywood. He LOOKED like he was listening to the jazz band and sipping from a bottle that looked like beer, but actually he was making eyes at a slim brunette named Tawny, seated with a group of her friends nearby. He whispered something in her ear and she got up and followed him to a corner table. There they had a long touchy feely conversation and he had his arm around her and his leg tossed over her thigh. At closing time Tawny told her friends “We’re going out for coffee – see ya!” and they exchanged knowing glances as she walked out with Farrell.

TWO REASONS NOT TO SEE MIAMI VICE

What was director Michael Mann THINKING when he decided to have his two good looking leading men decked out with MUSTACHES? (AKA female repellants) Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx are a big draw for women who don’t ordinarily want to see cop shootem-up explosion movies. But what a letdown for us females when BOTH starring actors sport unattractive facial hair! Colin wore a droopy Pancho Villa mustache and Jamie suffered the indignity of a Van Dyck pointy beatnik beard. No thanks, Mr Mann, we’d rather go see “The Devil Wears Prada” again!

The NEW Colin Farrell has cleaned up considerably since he checked into rehab after completing Miami Vice . Here he is looking suave at the Miami Vice premier, and he couldn’t do enough for his cheering fans. At one point he got down on his hands and knees on the red carpet to autograph an Irish flag for a fan in the stands. Apparently he didn’t realize a flag should never touch the ground, but in this case we’ll forgive his lapse in protocal.

This time in July, 2003: How NOT to Attract Colin Farrell – Irish lothario Colin met his female counterpart at a Malibu beach party and he didn’t like what he saw! Colin, beer in hand, was making the rounds at the party and approached a cute girl in a bikini. He turned on the charm and figured he was doing all right until the beachbunny put her arm around him and said “Let’s skip the small talk. I’ve got condoms in my purse, sex toys at home, and even Viagra if you need it. Let’s go!” Instead of being turned ON, Colin turned white as a sheet and backed off. He later remarked to a pal “Bloody hell. American girls are so forward. That one was TOO ready!”
