Elvis’s granddaughter Danielle Riley Keough, 20, (as she is now known) was modeling for awhile, but she recently got a big break and was cast in “The Runaways” with Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning. Dakota is playing band member Cherie Curry and Danielle plays her sister Marie. (Remember, Danielle was once stepdaughter to Michael Jackson!) It’ll be interesting to see if Danielle has any acting talent.

Jada Pinkett-Smith looks pretty snappy here with her long hair and red heels and she has good reason to be on top of the world. She executive produced a movie she can be proud of: “The Secret Life of Bees.” It takes place in South Carolina in 1964 at the height of racial turmoil. It’s a surprisingly endearing story of a motherless child (Dakota Fanning) who finds a place in the home of a woman with a thriving honey farm (Queen Latifah.) It IS a girly movie, but thoroughly enjoyable. Congratulations to Jada for her good taste!

Dakota Fanning,13, is shopping in Beverly Hills, but not alone – her mom is just out of the picture. She’s very hip in her skinny jeans – chances are she can barely bend her knees in them – just like Madonna’s daughter Lourdes. (What IS Lourdes’s last name, anyway?) We think Dakota looks like a mini Cameron Diaz today.
