These little mini-pigs are becoming VERY popular and Victoria and David Beckham love to jump on the trend bandwagon early. The Beckhams paid around $2000 for a pair of the piglets (considerably less money than one of Victoria’s handbags costs.) The adorable pigs only weigh around 9 ounces at birth and grow to be about 14 inches tall and up to 65 pounds. The pigs can be housebroken, and will have a comfortable home at the Beckhams sprawling compound outside London. We only hope they’re not forgotten when they grow up.

FANS JEERED DAVID BECKHAM WHILE EMBARRASSED FAMILY WATCHED

Tom Cruise and Victoria Beckham and the kids watched in horror as their hero David Beckham was loudly BOOED by outraged LA Galaxy fans during his first game back Sunday. Angry fans never let up – every time Beckham got near the ball they booed and chanted and yelled “Traitor!” And they held up giant signs saying things like “Go home, fraud!” Fans are irked because after David signed a mega-deal with Galaxy, he decided he wants to play for Milan instead. They feel betrayed and want him to know it. Victoria and Tom could only wince.

The scowl, the painted on abs are absurd and the shiny comb-over is embarrassing, but the all-over greasy skin is the last straw. Who does he remind you of in this photo?

VICTORIA BECKHAM WILL DO WHAT SHE HAS TO DO

Victoria Beckham doesn’t want her husband David to know it, but she is unsettled and dismayed at the prospect of moving to Milan. Talks are taking place right now between David’s LA Galaxy team where he has a five year contract, and the Milan team he hopes to join. If they reach an agreement David will join the Milan team. Playing for Milan would be the only way David could get into The World Cup. Victoria wants David to be happy, but she dreads pulling the kids out of school and packing up to leave for Italy. She’s been happy living in LA. Leaving David ALONE in Milan is absurdly risky – when he was in Madrid it was rumored he had an affair with his assistant. So Victoria will stand by her man – even if it kills her.

Tom Cruise looks pleased as punch as he leaves his New York apartment in the company of David and Victoria Beckham. He took them to a matinee of Katie’s play “All My Sons.” We’re not sure if Tom looks pleased because he’s proud of Katie’s work, or because just being with the Beckhams means he’s pulling them closer to Scientology.

Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills had a private 70% OFF sale last Thursday (we wish WE had known about it!) for one day only, and we were told the store was absolutely MOBBED. The LAST place you’d expect to see a celebrity, right? Parking was next to impossible, but David and Victoria Beckham managed to navigate the fanatical crowd. We didn’t realize how much they love a bargain. Our source ran into the couple in the fur department and David made it clear that his WIFE was looking at furs, not HIM.

CRUZ BECKHAM HAS A MIND OF HIS OWN

Cruz Beckham already seems to have theatrical leanings. He turned heads at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills when Victoria took him shopping dressed as Robin from “Batman and Robin.” Last time he went out he was wearing an African safari outfit. Victoria and David Beckham dined at LA’s Nobu the other night and Madonna spotted them across the room. Usually Madonna waits for people to approach HER, but in this case she stopped by their table to say hello. We would LOVE to know what they talked about.

David Beckham has been sitting courtside at all the Lakers home games this year – he brought Victoria to a game, but usually he’s in the company of one of his sons. Except once, when he brought Marc Anthony. Another audience member sitting behind the two guys reported that David was intently watching the players on the court, but Marc never shut up – “he was facing Beckham and yakking in his ear like a chihuahua through the whole game.” (Was he talking about Scientology?)

Victoria Beckham knows how to get our attention. She and David showed up at Macy’s on 34th Street in New York to promote their his and hers fragrances and they drew a gigantic crowd. For the occasion, Posh slicked her hair back and pulled on a grey shift dress and thigh high black rubber boots that have no heels! And they’re five inches high! They appear to defy the law of gravity, but on closer inspection are very delicately and cleverly balanced. To Victoria’s credit she never stumbled or even wobbled.

David Beckham could be a little exasperated by the news that his sons Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 6, and Cruz, 3, might NOT be so interested in playing soccer, after all. What they REALLY want is a career like the Jonas Brothers! The Jonas Brothers are currently fighting off the girls in London where their movie Camp Rock just opened. Kevin Jonas told a reporter that he met the Beckham brothers at the Teen Choice Awards and they told him they want to follow in the Jonas Brothers footsteps and sing and dance just like they do.

Tom Cruise and David Beckham are buddies now, but they’re on the road to becoming business partners. According to a friend of the guys, they’re plotting to team up and buy a soccer team. David is still an awesome player but his career is winding down and he wants to go from soccer player to team owner. Theoretically, the combined star power of David and Tom would attract the biggest and best players. The guys are keeping their plans quiet for now but they’re crunching numbers to put a deal together.

We haven’t seen David and Victoria Beckham out on the town lately because they’ve been back in the UK. David got an award for some soccer achievement and the couple celebrated at Baccarat restaurant there. It’s interesting how Victoria keeps her face perfectly composed for photos – she’s never laughing like a hyena or talking out of the side of her mouth. We’re growing ever fonder of that purple handbag.

Victoria Beckham is enduring a lot of criticism in the UK because instead of using her husband David Beckham as a model for her new dVb brand denim line, she used a lookalike model. Actually it is a very SMART move on her part. For one thing, pictures of David would draw attention AWAY from the jeans and to him. And guys might feel a bit foolish or intimidated buying Beckham’s pants. We think Victoria made the right decision.

Victoria Beckham appeared on a Japanese TV show called Smap Smap to promote the new Spice Girls, and according to observers she seemed very confused by the language barrier. At one point she got so mixed up that she actually forgot to pout, and SMILED for a photograph. While she was mugging in Japan, her husband David Beckham didn’t seem happy to be left alone. He and two bodyguards – not buddies- went out for some masculine fun at the Saddle Ranch Chop House on Sunset Strip. They killed a few hours but nobody rode the mechanical bull.

VINNIE JONES AND DAVID BECKHAM WON'T BE AUDITIONING FOR THE SAME ROLES

There’s one person who’s not thrilled or impressed that David Beckham has come to LA to play soccer for the LA Galaxy team. Maybe you could describe Vinnie Jones as a rival of Beckham. Vinnie is a notorious UK soccer player who was famous for playing ROUGH and ended up a tough guy in the movies. Guy Ritchie cast him in “Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels” and an acting career was born. Vinnie, one of our personal favorites, has since moved to Hollywood and is fulfilling Beckham’s dream of becoming an actor. Jones hasn’t lost his edge – when the subject of Beckham’s arrival came up, he snarled “Well, he’s only coming to look after Posh’s handbag, isn’t he?”

It’s the casually dressed Beckhams, all right, but WHERE are they? It is the Museum Of Contemporary Art? They’re not paying much attention to the sculpture towering over them. Are they soaking up some LA culture? Nope, they’re doing one of the things they do best – SHOPPING – at the very pricey Maxfield store on Melrose Avenue.
