DAVID SPADE : PERENNIAL LADIES MAN

David Spade ALMOST got away with sneaking out of the opening of Catch Steak LA this weekend with a very young and beautiful girl (right behind him.) He’s not the kind of guy to FLAUNT his puzzling success with the female sex, but he continues quietly scoring with women, even though he’s 57 – and 5’7” on a good day. Ex -fling Heather Locklear claimed he is well endowed, but he’s shy and won’t talk about that. His sense of humor has to be a big draw -and he’s an astute businessman. The SNL grad just sold his 6400 sq ft Edward Fickett Trousdale home for $19.5 million (he bought it for 4 million in 2001.) He’s NOT down-sizing- he already moved into his brand new $13.85 million, 11,300 sq ft bachelor pad in the Hollywood Hills.

DAVID SPADE IS GIVING LATE NIGHT A KICK IN THE PANTS

Above, David Spade is being ushered into Good Morning America where he talked about his new show on Comedy Central called Lights Out with David Spade. It starts at 11:30 – the same time that Jimmy Kimmel and everybody else airs. (Also the same time as David’s alma mater SNL) Spade and several other guest comics will analyze the pop cultural news of the day (not politics) along with an occasional skit. His buddies from SNL have promised to guest on the show and we will definitely tune in – absence of political commentary is very appealing, and we love Spade’s sarcasm…

THINGS ARE LOOKING UP FOR DAVID SPADE

Former SNL comic and Just Shoot Me actor David Spade is not only taking pretty women in tight pants out to dinner at Craig’s, but he’s got a big new job. HBO is developing a half hour comedy series (still untitled) just for him. Spade plays a 90’s grunge musician who lost his career to drugs and is now sober and working as a waiter in the Valley. Along comes a messed up twenty-something actress, and the plot thickens. Diablo Cody and Jason Reitman are writing and directing, so this is a real deal comeback for David.

DAVID SPADE: THE HARDEST WORKING BACHELOR IN HOLLYWOOD

You’d never guess by looking at him that unassuming David Spade, 53, is one of the most successful womanizers in Hollywood. He’s dated a lot of beauties – from Heather Locklear, Pam Anderson, Naya Rivera, Julie Bowen, and Teri Hatcher, to multiple Playboy Playmates. (He even has a daughter with one.) The Just Shoot Me comic certainly didn’t win all those women over with his style – we’re guessing they like his SNL sense of humor, but Spade insists women find him attractive because he’s “reliable and not a show-off.”

DAVID SPADE IS DATING “UP” AGAIN

In his own quiet way, David Spade, 52, IS quite a ladies man. Through the years the former SNL comic has dated numerous models and actresses (most of them taller than him) including Nicollette Sheridan and Heather Locklear. He makes them laugh. Since January he’s been keeping company with Maxim model and Glee actress Naya Rivera, 30. They were even seen frolicking in a pool in Hawaii. After winking that they were “just friends” they came out in the open last night on a dinner date at Catch in West Hollywood.

DAVID SPADE LOOKS LIKE A LEADING MAN

We’re doing David Spade a big favor here. We came across the incredibly flattering photo of him (despite facial hair) at the premier of “Joe Dirt 2” and decided he would be thrilled to see it. The pint-sized actor certainly cleans up nicely after getting rid of that mullet. Don’t wait for the movie to come to a theater near you – it won’t. But you can see it through Sony’s streaming service Crackle. On the positive side, the plot involves Joe time traveling, but on the negative side, Spade’s SNL costar Adam Sandler produced it.
