DEE SNIDER PLAYED HIS CARDS RIGHT

Hard to believe, but Twisted Sister singer Dee Snider has been with the same woman- his wife- for 46 years. That has to be a record in the rock world. Dee and his wife Suzette met when she was 15 and he was 21 – for Dee it was love at first sight. They married in 1981 and Dee admits when the band was really hot in 1984, they nearly broke up because his ego got out of control. But he came to his senses, and they went on to have four kids. Suzette is still a knockout – they went out to dinner last night in West Hollywood. Dee is delighted that Ukraine’s anti-war anthem is Twisted sister’s hit We’re Not Gonna take It…

DEE SNIDER : ONE LESS KID TO WORRY ABOUT

New Yorker Dee Snider (Twisted Sister) is in LA visiting his youngest son Cody Blue Snider, 29, who is, surprisingly, not following in his fathers rock star footsteps. It’s nice to see a celebrity kid with ambition and a career – Cody happens to be a successful filmmaker and video director. He’s currently working with New Line Cinema developing a project with Edward Norton. Father and son spent the evening catching up at Avalon nightclub in Hollywood.

DEE SNIDER CAN’T TAKE IT ANY MORE

Dee Snider, 62, says he retired his band Twisted Sister after their 40th anniversary tour because head banging no longer agrees with him, “My neck has had it.” He wanted to put an end to the band while it was still good. His new music is less physically aggressive than heavy metal, but he still dresses the part – head to toe leather in the summer! Dee and his wife of 36 years, (!) Suzette, have 4 kids and two grandchildren. Suzette was a costume designer when they met and she is still quite a beauty.

DEE SNIDER ISN’T GONNA TAKE IT!

Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider, 61, has not lost much of his boundless enthusiasm and physicality when it comes to heavy metal concerts. He appeared at the Bloodstock metal fest in the UK and gave it all he had. You may recall, Donald Trump (Dee’s Celebrity Apprentice pal) used Snider’s song “We’re Not Gonna Take It” early in his campaign. Dee called Donald and told him he couldn’t support his political views (for one thing, Dee is pro-choice) so he didn’t want his song used. Donald said OK and they remain friends. Most astonishing thing about Dee is his amazing HAIR!

Dee Snider of “Twisted Sister” was perfectly DELIGHTED to be recognized by paparazzi as he walked out of Boa steakhouse with his wife Suzette and daughter Cheyenne. The 55 year old heavy metal rocker has been married to the same woman for nearly 30 years and that, among other things, qualified him for a reality show. “Growing Up Twisted,” featuring the Sniders at home with their four musically active kids, will air on A&E this fall.

BOBBY BROWN WANTS TO BE A COUNTRY STAR AND FIND ANOTHER SLEEPWALKER WHO PEES

It all starts today February 9. The CMT’s new reality show
Gone Country” features seven non-country entertainers who must learn the “country life” while competing to become the “next country superstar.” Bobby Brown is more than willing to go country if it means he can make some money. His fellow contestants are : Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, pop singer Julio Iglesias Jr, singer Carnie Wilson, rapper Sisqo, Maureen McCormick of the Brady Bunch, and American Idol finalist Diana DeGarmo. Everybody lives together in a country house and does chores. The most noteworthy revelation of the show is the fact that Bobby Brown not only sleepwalks but pees in his sleep! Maureen tried to wake him during one episode and slipped on the “wet” floor and Dee Snider narrowly escaped being used as a toilet. Bobby is crying out for help and support – he says “Any sleepwalkers out there who pee – please call me!”
