WHY DID DEMI LOVATO GIVE UP HER PRONOUNS?

Judging from this photo, the answer is evident. For a man. Shortly after Demi Lovato announced that we can STOP using those ambiguous “they” and “them” plural pronouns in reference to her, Demi has introduced a new boyfriend- he’s a Canadian punk/rapper named Jute$.   Not only has she changed her pronouns for this guy (in the White Castle t-shirt)  but she is starting to DRESS LIKE HIM! When Demi was dating Wilmer Valderrama or her last boyfriend, Max Ehrich, she dressed like a pretty popstar, but suddenly she’s wearing distressed leather and plaid (and looking rather awkward.) Demi had a bad experience with her ambitious former fiancé Max Ehrich- she felt he was using her to advance his career, and they had a messy split in 2021. By all accounts, Jute$ is a nice guy, but Demi might be going too far to please him.

PARIS HILTON AND DEMI LOVATO HAVE SOMETHING PLANNED FOR HALLOWEEN

We love this photo of Paris Hilton and Demi Lovato shopping together on Fairfax Ave -and creating QUITE a stir. Who even knew they were friends? Looking back, Paris DID appear in Demi’s Sorry Not Sorry video -playing a DJ in party scene. And in 2019 Paris was prominently featured at Demi’s Halloween party at Hyde. Oh yes, and Demi just appeared on Paris’s Netflix series Cooking With Paris, so obviously they’ve been friends for awhile. Today the noteworthy twosome invaded – of ALL places- the Dolls Kill store in search of Halloween costumes together. We bet that store went up for grabs when these two walked in…..and what did they walk OUT with?

DEMI LOVATO: HAPPY AT LAST!

She’s only 27, but Demi Lovato has already had a tabloid-esque lifetime of ups and downs. We’ve watched her suffer through bulimia, substance abuse, rehab several times, and many failed romantic relationships. Late last year she announced that she was “queer.” Happiness seemed just out of reach. Along came Covid-19 and it changed everything! Demi had just started dating Young and Restless actor Max Ehrich when they were thrust into quarantine together. Unlike a lot of relationships, this one flourished in isolation. They actually fell in love and Max, 29, who happens to be a WORKING actor, proposed in late July. They’ve been smooching it up on social media ever since. It’s nice to know SOMEBODY’S happy !

GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN

Former Disney actress turned bad girl, Bella Thorne, and Batwoman Ruby Rose couldn’t resist attending a big drive-by birthday party this weekend, despite the pandemic. There was plenty of food, drinks and balloons, but to their credit the girls DID wear masks and only took them off to imbibe. We found it amusing to hear that bisexual Bella Thorne’s “girl crush” is Demi Lovato, and Ruby Rose, who calls herself “gender fluid,” has long had a girl crush on Taylor Swift.

Courtney has more than a passing familiarity with rehab herself. So what’s the deal?

DEMI LOVATO AND HENRY LEVY: A MATCH MADE IN REHAB

Fashion designer Henry Levy has hit the jackpot with his new girlfriend Demi Lovato. Henry, who has been in rehab himself a number of times, started out as Demi’s “sober companion” and their friendship blossomed into romance. Henry’s luxury fashion brand is called Enfants Riches Deprimes, which translates to “Depressed Rich Kids.” His expensive punk-inspired unisex apparel is sold only at high-end stores like Maxfield. We cannot imagine Demi wearing his $300 torn t-shirts (Jared Leto does) – but it might happen. And just being seen with Demi has given his profile a boost. Everything’s good for both of them!

DEMI LOVATO: ANOTHER FASHION FAILURE

Demi Lovato was heavily protected when she arrived at LAX, but fans still mobbed her for selfies. (see woman above) Demi’s face is as pretty as ever, but that OUTFIT! Those woolly menswear inspired pleated pants are monumentally unflattering, and the high heel stilettos don’t feminize them a bit. The big pants paired with the bulky short jacket add a lot of unnecessary heft while the sexy low cut top fails to distract from the stocky look. It’s not easy to make Demi Lovato look bad, but this get-up succeeds.

WORST DRESSED AGAIN: DEMI LOVATO NEEDS FASHION REHAB

Not only is Demi Lovato, 25, more than 5 years sober, but she actually BOUGHT the rehab where she was treated in 2011. She credits much of her present success to the CAST Centers clinic that she now owns. Too bad this cute performer is so frequently on our Worst Dressed list. She’s in New York promoting her new album Tell Me You Love Me, dressed in this dreadful get-up. The bulky orange corduroy shirt hanging off her shoulder adds about 20 pounds and the garter pants are shapeless and too short. Real or fake, that hair does NOT improve the look. Fashion Rehab would also be a good investment.

Whoever designed the costumes for Demi Lovato to wear on tour with Nick Jonas seems to be sabotaging her career. She’s a pretty girl but her skimpy high cut leotards and thigh boots couldn’t be less flattering. Is it Tthe Kardashian Effect that pushes women to reveal more and more flesh? Demi doesn’t need to sex it up to THAT extent – she can SING.
