LIFE GOES ON FOR DENISE RICHARDS AND HER GIRLS

Denise Richards, 45, took her gaggle of little girls out for ice dream in Malibu. How awkward it must be for her two daughters with Charlie Sheen. Charlie is always badmouthing Denise, calling her a gold digger. But that doesn’t stop Denise from taking him to court regularly for more child support – she’s been getting $55,000 per month. Now that Charlie’s living with HIV he wants to cut back on the amount. We can’t help but feel sorry for the girls who are certainly embarrassed by their father’s appalling behavior and eventually will question their mother’s common sense.

WILL CHARLIE SHEEN TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT HIV?

We can hardly WAIT to see if Charlie Sheen tells the truth about his HIV status. Will he use the tired excuse that manly men prefer – claiming that he caught it from “a prostitute”? Of course that is absolutely not true (no matter what the AIDS charities claim – it’s nearly impossible to catch HIV from a woman.) So that leaves either a homosexual tryst (not impossible considering how high Charlie gets and how oversexed he is) or dirty needles. We’re betting on the needles because he has admitted to injecting cocaine. At this point he’s believed to have been HIV positive for at least ten years. Denise Richards, who divorced him in 2006, says she knew he was infected and she and her daughters are negative. That leaves Brooke Mueller, his drug-crazed wife from 2008 to 2011 and the mother of his twin sons. She and Sheen did plenty of drugs together and she could be infected. She’s most likely the one suing him now. It’s been awhile since we heard from her.

Denise Richards’ little girls are growing up fast. Sam is 11, Lola is 10, and Eloise is 4. Sam and Lola were fathered by Denise’s ex-husband Charlie Sheen and he’s always complaining that he doesn’t get to spend enough time with them yet he has paid millions of dollars (he says) of child support. How Denise survived four years of marriage to the unpredictable TV star is amazing. They have a very up and down relationship now, and she tries to make peace. It can’t be easy.

DENISE RICHARDS EMERGES AS THE HERO OF THIS BROOKE MUELLER/ CHARLIE SHEEN MESS

Denise Richards, 42, has certainly redeemed herself. She started out her career as an incredibly beautiful and spoiled actress who was dismissed as a minimal talent. When she married the notorious Charlie Sheen in 2006, people wondered “What kind of person marries a drug addict? They figured “Either she’s after his money or she’s doing drugs WITH him.” Two children and four years later the marriage was over, and there was no evidence of Denise bingeing with her husband. She DID endure numerous insults from Charlie during their divorce, but she managed to remain friendly with the father of her two daughters. Now that Charlie’s latest wife Brooke Mueller is headed toward rehab for the NINETEENTH time, Denise kindly volunteered to care for Charlie’s twin 4 year old sons. Sure, Charlie is helping Denise financially, but she’s gone the extra mile and will give the boys a decent home. (Above, Denise, left, is also friendly with Brooke Mueller, and their kids had a play day a few months ago.)

DENISE RICHARDS CAN’T DO ENOUGH FOR HURRICANE RESCUES

We have to admire Denise Richards for helping out the North Shore Animal League America shelter on Long Island, which has been inundated with hurricane rescues desperate for homes. Denise has a collection of damaged and sick dogs that she cares for at home, along with one 16 year old dog that was starved and abandoned. She brought her daughters along to volunteer also and the whole family fell in love with a black lab mix puppy (above) named Tara, so they took her home too. Sweet.

HOW DID CHARLIE SHEEN AND HIS TWO EX-WIVES BECOME BEST FRIENDS?

It’s a little hard to digest the idea of Charlie Sheen’s second ex-wife Denise Richards throwing a 35th birthday party for his third ex-wife Brooke Mueller on Sunday. Brooke threw the party at her home, which she shares with her two children with Charlie (daughters Sam, 8, and Lola, 7,) and her adopted toddler Eloise. Brooke brought her three year old twins with Charlie, and of course Charlie was there for the festivities. This is certainly a family that is more than willing to forgive and forget. Charlie and Brooke’s legendary drug and alcohol problems seem to no longer be an issue. The whole inter-relationship is very civilized, but we have a feeling Charlie’s money has a LOT to do with it. Plus the fact that they all live in separate houses.

Denise Richards appears to be rekindling and old romance with her Starship Troopers costar Patrick Muldoon. The two dated briefly back in 1998 but remained friends through the years. “Days of Our Lives” actor Patrick, 43, was included in a celebration Denise, 40, had in July for her newly adopted daughter Eloise. Last night they had a dinner date at Madeo and if body language means anything, they are more than friends. Patrick kept a firm grip on Denise as they left the restaurant.

DENISE RICHARDS DIDN’T WANT TO BE A PAWN IN THE WAR BETWEEN CHARLIE SHEEN AND CHUCK LORRE

Denise Richards is smarter than she looks. We were startled to hear that she was invited to appear on the first episode of this season’s “Two and a Half Men” with Ashton Kutcher. Certainly she can use the money and exposure for her lagging career. But we give her credit for instantly recognizing it was not a generous gesture on the part of producer Chuck Lorre, but simply one-up-man-ship. It would have been a huge slap in Charlie Sheen’s face if Denise had accepted the role. Denise doesn’t want to erode relations with the father of her children so she regretfully turned down the opportunity.

The more we hear about Charlie Sheen’s wife Brooke Mueller, the better his exwife Denise Richards looks. Denise took part in a Best Friends Animal Society adopt-a-dog event in LA and she helped out and did her best to find homes for lonely dogs.

Charlie Sheen’s exwife Denise Richards has an ear to ear grin because now the whole world knows she was RIGHT. Early on, Denise didn’t want her two daughters spending time in the home of their dad Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke. She kept her reasons for those reservations to herself. But she DID appear to be an unreasonable exwife. Denise wants her daughters to have a relationship with their step brothers (Charlie’s twins) so eventually she did allow supervised visits. It looks like Denise knew what was going on in the Sheen house all along and didn’t want to be the whistle-blower. She must be getting a lot of child support because she’s kept her mouth shut through all of this.
