It’s nice to see “Desperate Housewives” star Marcia Cross and her twin daughters Eden and Savannah at the Santa Monica farmer’s market as usual. This time is special because Marcia’s husband Tom Mahoney accompanied them and it looks like his health is much improved. In 2009 Tom, a stock broker, was treated for cancer and he looked gaunt and lost his hair and was rarely seen in public. It’s apparent that Marcia is happy and grateful that Tom is back and energetically playing with the kids.

Nicollette Sheridan’s career might not be going great guns, but she always has a love life. After she was fired from “Desperate Housewives,” Nicollette sued the producer Marc Cherry and was disappointed when none of her former costars backed her up. Since then she hasn’t had a lot of luck landing roles, but she has a handsome new guy in her life. The pair were photographed having lunch in Calabasas and Nicollette must be very comfortable with this mystery man because she’s wearing sweat pants and Uggs.

MARC CHERRY FIRED NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN – CAN HE FIRE TERI HATCHER TOO?

We might be responsible for saving Teri Hatcher’s job on “Desperate Housewives!” This became apparent when Nicollette Sheridan filed her lawsuit against ABC for “wrongful termination.” Nicolette claims that the series creator Marc Cherry whacked her in the face when she questioned the script. Cherry supporters claim “He was prepping her for a scene involving a slap.” (The Winona Ryder excuse) Nicollette complained to ABC and apparently they swallowed the scene prepping story and found no merit to her claim. Her character was killed off not long after. Nicollette claims Marc was also abusive to Teri Hatcher, who also complained to ABC. Last summer we heard that Teri’s character was about to be written off the show too! Teri CAN’T be fired now, because that would strengthen Nicollette’s lawsuit. Cherry, who is accused of “gender violence” is described by our source as “Mercurial – and he doesn’t think some of his actors are as GRATEFUL as they should be. He thinks he did them a big favor by hiring them.”

LEVI JOHNSTON COULD BE A HOT GUY ON “DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES”

Now that Levi Johnston has conquered Playgirl, we hear he’s headed for Wisteria Lane. Levi, who also goes by the name Rikki Hollywood, is in talks to guest star on a three episode arc on “Desperate Housewives.” Marc Cherry, the series creator, is a gay Republican and he was intrigued by Levi when he saw him at last year’s Republican National Convention. He offered Levi a role on the show and Levi/Rikki is taking acting lessons to prepare.

She’s got her man back. After a year of cancer treatments, it’s great to see Marcia Cross’s husband Tom Mahoney looking healthy again. “Desperate Housewives” star Marcia looks very content to be just having coffee with him. Is it just us, or does Marcia look like she could be Nicole Kidman’s sister? They both have that long, lean, look and translucent skin.

Last week, “Desperate Housewives” star Teri Hatcher was rumored to have swine flu but it turned out to be simply laryngitis. She’s obviously recovered because this week she took her twelve year old daughter Emerson shopping at The Grove. It seems like only yesterday that Teri and Emerson spent a day at the Grove’s American Girl store playing with dolls. But that was two years ago and Emerson has other thing son her mind now. Like fashion.

Sourthwest Airlines passengers at Burbank airport were surprised to see Eva Longoria on their budget flight to Phoenix and she was ALONE and schlepping her own luggage. An airport employee asked for a photo and Eva happily complied. Then she told the employee that she had an “odd request.” Can you give me a DOLLAR?” Eva explained that she wanted to buy a Snickers candy bar in the machine and had no change. The employee insisted on buying her the candy bar and also presented her with some trail mix because it was “healthier.” Observers say Eva was sweet and friendly to all.
