Does anybody else think Queen Latifah looks like a fish out of water in this photo? We love Latifah for what she is, and although she showed up at the Kennedy Honors looking glamorous in a standard way, we can’t get over this “high society matron” look, dripping with diamonds. A little more edge, please, Latifah!

PARIS HILTON AND HER SECRET BILLIONAIRE

Benji Madden might be surprised to learn that only weeks after their split, Paris Hilton already has a billionaire in her back pocket. When Paris was at the Fountainebleau opening in Miami she hooked up with jewelry designer Pascal Mouawad. At the hotel nightclub he presented her with a $100,000 diamond watch and she ran around the club squealing and showing her friends while alarmed bodyguards struggled to keep up. Pascal has what Paris wants – private jets and huge yachts and gobs of money. He has a home in the Hollywood Hills not far from hers and they’ve been doing a lot of secret after hours socializing. (They were photographed on the red carpet and she’s wearing a three million dollar necklace he lent her.)

HAS WINONA RYDER PULLED ANOTHER FAST ONE?

French newspapers are aflutter over Winona Ryder’s missing diamonds. As you may know, Winona was invited to a French event sponsored by Marie Claire magazine and they loaned her a dress and a Bulgari diamond bracelet and ring to wear. The $125,000 worth of diamonds turned up missing and at first it was erroneously reported that Winona claimed she left them in the hotel’s safe before she left the next day. Now, according to TMZ, Winona says she left the dress and diamonds in her hotel room because no one from Marie Claire came to fetch them. She left on an early morning flight. The dress was found in the hotel room but not the diamonds. First of all, we can’t figure out why Bulgari would lend diamonds to a convicted shoplifter and not assign a guard to follow her around. Second, is Winona really dumb enough to leave diamonds behind in a HOTEL ROOM? We think not. So far, police have not contacted Winona. Will she get away with this?

CHRIS BROWN IS KEEPING RIHANNA DRIPPING IN DIAMONDS

Chris Brown is NOT about to allow Rihanna to get away. He wants to keep her happy. Jay-Z advised them to keep the romance under wraps as long as possible but no matter how many times they insisted they were just friends, nobody believed them. Photographs didn’t lie. They already have matching tattoos, and Chris just bought Rihanna a $7,200 diamond and platinum necklace. It’s several diamond encrusted little stars dangling at different levels.
