Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman is pictured here coming out of his hotel in New York looking red as a lobster. He must have just left the tanning salon. Dog is in town promoting his new book “Where Mercy is Shown, Mercy is Given,” which contains some of his favorite bounty hunting stories. It also addresses his much publicized use of the forbidden “n” word. Since his last book made the best seller list, this one probably will too. Fortunately, he has a co-author to refine his Hawaiian slang and prison grammar.

“Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman took his wife Beth and daughter Baby Lyssa out for lunch at The Ivy. Baby Lyssa’s not so little any more. Seems like only yesterday, Lyssa married her husband Bo and already she’s flaunting a major baby bump. This is a prolific and confusing family – Dog has at least fourteen biological children and several adopted ones. Did you know Dog is only 5′7″ tall? He seems much bigger.

Awww. Duane “Dog” Chapman and his wife Beth were proud parents as they watched their daughter Lyssa get married in Hawaii. Dog even had a tear in his eye. Of course, the entire event was filmed for his TV show “Dog The Bounty Hunter” so it was worth getting dressed up and tressed up for. And YOU’LL be able to watch the whole thing.

Dog the Bounty Hunter continues to amaze us. He seems to have a lot of children (with different women) who resent him and can’t wait to blab about him to The National Enquirer. The kids claim that the born again Christian image their father (real name Duane Chapman) creates on his TV series couldn’t be farther from the truth. Of course, the whole family seems to have a history of drug abuse, criminal activity, and prison time – they’d make a great Jerry Springer show. This week Duane Chapman’s spawn Tucker, who’s on parole for armed robbery, claims his father is a racist who uses the “n” word. In fact he says Dog warned him to give up his black girlfriend because he didn’t want her around the house HEARING him use the “n” word. Dog didn’t want his fans to find out he uses racial slurs! And the Enquirer has him on tape doing just that!

Dog “The Bounty Hunter” Chapman’s son has spilled the beans on his father to The National Enquirer and it isn’t pretty. Dog’s oldest son Christopher, 34, says “The Dog that people see on TV is nothing like he is in real life. He’s a monster – a violent, racist tyrant who smokes crack.” Chris goes on to say that his father introduced him to smoking crack and eventually crystal meth. He says “It turns my stomach to see him lecture people on not using drugs when he’s the biggest drug user I ever saw. When he woke up after a crack binge he’d get violent with Beth and me and the other kids. The violence in that house was incredible – like a hillbilly trailer park.” Chris also claims his father is a bigot who hates blacks and gays. Frankly, if we were Chris, we’d be too scared of Dog to say any of those things.

Spago had one of it’s most memorable lunchtimes yesterday – Oprah and her book club friends were there, PLUS, purely by coincidence, Dog the Bounty Hunter! No, he wasn’t hot on anybody’s trail, but he sure was an eyeful for other diners. Duane Chapman and his wife Beth were dressed in their usual biker inspired garb and both seemed to have fresh extensions. They are definitely not a tyical Spago lunch couple but that’s what makes Hollywood fun. Our photographer says Duane and Beth were friendly and shook his hand!
