The fact that “The Tudors” star Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Donatella Versace went to a White House dinner event together will no doubt reignite that speculation about his sexual preference. Actually, these two have more than fashion in common, they both have battled substance abuse problems – maybe they are staying sober together.

Donatella and Allegra Versace turned up at a a fashion event in London and Donatella looks better with her shorter wavier hair. Since Allegra inherited half of her uncle Gianni Versace’s fashion empire, she’s obligated to be very fashion savvy. THAT can be a lot of pressure for a 22 year old. She obviously rejects some of her mother’s fashion sensibilities (thank heavens) and retains her own look. But she is still frail after being treated at UCLA for her eating disorder.
Recently Donatella Versace visited Barneys in Beverly Hills and she thoroughly shopped the co-op sportwear level where they’re having a major sale. According to an eyewitness, she rummaged through all the racks and piled thousands of dollars worth of random items on the counter without trying anything on. (To everyone’s disappointment, her anorexic daughter Allegra, pictured above, was not with her.) Most noteworthy was the fact that she had THREE bodyguards. In Barneys! Are all wealthy Italians afraid to go out without bodyguards? Or just Versaces?
