The recently arrested Randy (”Brokeback Mountain”) Quaid and his crazy wife Evi seem to be the new Bonnie & Clyde of Hollywood. Besides running up exorbitant bills at expensive hotels and skipping off without paying, they escaped in a Hertz rental car that was reported missing. Not long ago Evi hired a private detective because she believed that “the same people who killed David Carradine” were after her husband. The detective ended up getting a restraining order against the Quaids – she told radaronline.com that Evi kept her drug use and spending hidden from her husband and the shaken detective feared that Evi might kill Randy and/or herself. We predict rehab is dead ahead for these two.

MACKENZIE PHILLIPS’ FATHER JOHN PHILLIPS WAS WORSE THAN RYAN O’NEAL

Ryan O’Neal can relax – John Phillips of the ironically named group “The Mamas and the Papas” has turned out to be an even WORSE Hollywood father than Ryan. “One Day at a Time” star Mackenzie Phillips has a new book “High on Arrival” and she admits that her musician father John, who was addicted to drugs and alcohol, introduced her to both heroin and incest. She tells in horrific detail about her childhood of drugs and her ten year incestuous affair with her father and the resulting abortion he paid for. John’s other daughter Chynna doesn’t doubt Mackenzie’s story. His ex-wife Michelle Phillips insists that Mackenzie is “mentally ill” but she’s probably embarrassed because she MARRIED the monster. We were always resentful that John Phillips got a liver transplant in 1992 when surely there were more deserving sick people who needed a liver. Phillips was witnessed drinking not long after his surgery.

LINDSAY LOHAN IS HER OWN WORST ENEMY

We can’t help but think that Lindsay Lohan’s burglary has more than a little to do with her bad habits and the questionable company she keeps. A few weeks ago she was at the Roxy for a special event. She was described as “loud, boisterous, and completely THRASHED.” An eye witness told us “Lindsay traipsed back and forth to the bathroom constantly – sometimes holding hands with girlfriends.” Our spy walked in on her once and Lindsay was snorting white powder through a straw from the bar. During the evening Lindsay had her water bottle refilled with vodka from the bartender several times. When she left she had to be helped out the back door.

MICHAEL JACKSON’S DOCTORS FOUGHT OVER HIM

Somehow with all the Michael Jackson information circulating, we became aware of intense competition between Michael’s doctors. Michael’s plastic surgeon Dr Steven Hoefflin and his dermatologist, Dr Arnie Klein, have nothing good to say about each other. For years, Dr Hoefflin enjoyed the perks of being Michael’s “special travelling companion and personal physician.” He performed numerous surgical procedures (under the desired anesthetics) and wrote prescriptions and earned a LOT of money with Michael. Until Dr Klein came along, that is. Dr Klein convinced Michael that he didn’t need any more plastic surgery – especially on his nose – that he needed fillers instead. Michael dropped Dr Hoefflin and threw his money at Dr Klein – helping him become one of the most powerful doctors in Beverly Hills. Dr Hoefflin wasn’t happy, and accused Dr Klein of worsening Michael’s lupus with massive injections of collagen. But in the end he has the last laugh – so far HE’S not being investigated.

DJ AM’s drug related death at 36, is another Hollywood tragedy. While Adam Goldstein’s celebrity friends are calling attention to themselves by twittering about how upset they are about his abrupt departure, one person remains silent. That would be his MOTHER Andrea Gross. She was the first person Adam called from the ambulance after his near fatal plane crash. Adam’s heartbroken mother supported him all his life – through drug addiction and several visits to rehab. She took care of him after his gastric bypass and after his plane crash. When he was starting out as a DJ, she coaxed her friends into hiring him for bar mitzvahs and weddings. Andrea never gave up on her son, and it’s a real shame that he couldn’t control his addictions, and enjoy his abundant life.

Someone tried to convince the press that Mischa Barton was taken to the hospital because she had complications from wisdom tooth surgery. But this isn’t her first mysterious and sudden hospital visit (Remember she passed out at a BBQ two years ago) so everyone is assuming her predilection for indulging in controlled substances is responsible. Last we heard she was on involuntary psychiatric hold, which isn’t so surprising when you consider her rocker boyfriend Cisco Adler broke up with her because HE thought she partied too much.

NERVOUS DR ARNIE KLEIN HAS GOOD REASON TO WET HIS PANTS

Dr Arnie Klein is probably peeing in his pants as you read this. The last time Dr Klein lost control of his bladder was when he was testifying in front of the judge at a court case where he was being sued by Irina Medavoy for giving her too much botox. Now that the Coroner and cops are zeroing in on the dermatologist for Michael Jackson’s medical records, Arnie must be a nervous wreck. Michael was often photographed prancing in and out of Klein’s office in the months before his death. To top it off, one of Arnie Klein’s burly exboyfriends (they met on Bear411.com!) just told Radar that Arnie wrote HIM painkiller prescriptions in Klein’s own name. (Yikes! what next?) Being nice to Michael Jackson could prove to be this acclaimed doctor’s downfall.

We find it strange that LaToya Jackson is on a rampage to find someone to blame for her brother Michael’s death. She says she wants to know WHO provided Michael with drugs- it seems every doctor or dentist that Michael ever visited was heavily pressured to write prescriptions for Michael – BY Michael. It’s been going on for years. Yes, the docs should be investigated, but Michael did HIMSELF in. La Toya is also demanding to know who INTRODUCED Michael to drugs. She need look no further than Michael’s address book for his oldest celebrity friends – Elizabeth Taylor and Liza Minnelli.

This frantic actress has been battling her weight, but that’s not the only problem she has. Recently she screeched in her sportscar up to an all night Hollywood drugstore in search of a bottle of Absolut Vodka. She and her mannish girlfriend coaxed the clerk into selling it even though it was close to 2 AM. The clerk handed her the bottle and she grabbed it and took a gulp “I really needed that!” The actress generously handed the guy $50 and also tossed him a joint and a pill she described as a “muscle relaxer.” Hint: It’s NOT Lindsay!

Looking high as a kite, Celebrity Rehab’s failed participant Steven Adler seemed very happy to be taking a stroll on Robertson Blvd over the weekend. It might be his last walk for a while. The former Guns n Roses drummer has been ordered by an LA judge to check back into rehab by Monday February 9, at the latest. And this rehab isn’t televised. Will he cooperate, or end up back in court?

After Ryan O’Neal and his son Redmond were arrested in September for possession of methamphetamines, Ryan’s lawyer insisted that Ryan had confiscated the drugs from his son and they weren’t his. But yesterday the story changed – Ryan pleaded GUILTY to drug possession and agreed to enter an 18 month drug treatment program. Charges will be dropped if he completes the program. Redmond was already on probation when he was arrested and he’ll be arraigned February 20th. Ryan is not supposed to associate with drug abusers, but Redmond will probably be shipped off to another rehab or even jail. And you think YOU have a messed up family!

Not only does he have a fiery temper, but his rages are fueled by huge quantities of drugs, resulting in legal problems. In addition, he has another addiction that isn’t so apparent yet. He’s a raging sex addict. He talks about women and sex nonstop. People who visit his house are shocked to see that he worships the female anatomy – he has huge and expensive pieces of artwork all over his house depicting female genitalia.

Quicker than a wink, Amy ’s father Mitch showed up after she was released from the drug and alcohol center. Maybe he’s worried about what she might do now that Blake is out of jail and in rehab himself. (Climbing over the hospital wall is not out of the question.) Anyway Mitch didn’t want to leave her alone to her own devices so he took her off in his cab.

Since her half brother Redmond AND her father Ryan have been arrested on drug charges, Tatum O’Neal must feel like the heat is off her for now. Certainly it will be more difficult for Ryan to deny the charges Tatum made in her tell-all book “A Paper Life.” If you recall Tatum claimed to be distraught over the death of her dog when she got caught attempting to buy crack recently and now we’re happy to see she’s got a new puppy.

Lindsay Lohan may be “out” with her relationship with Sam Ronson, but she’s still in the closet with her substance abuse. Sam was spinning for a lesbian party at the Roxy last Thursday and Lindsay was a huge hit with the gay girls. Many admirers wanted to send her drinks but she told them “I don’t drink, thank you.” At the same time she was sneakily drinking the vodka and red bulls that friends at her table ordered. Lindsay wouldn’t use the public bathroom so the Roxy allowed her to use a backstage band bathroom. A witness says she ran back and forth to her private bathroom all night – at least once every half hour. “It was obvious she wasn’t touching up her makeup.”
