SIMON COWELL NIXED BLACK TIE FOR DECOLLETE

It takes all kinds. Joan Collins (age 88 – can you believe it?) had an elegant black tie party at Claridge’s Hotel in London to celebrate her 20th wedding anniversary with Percy Gibson. Among the guests were Elizabeth Hurley and her customary date, her 19 year old son Damian Hurley. Damian wore his long hair back in a ponytail with his tuxedo, and his mother wore a sexy gown as usual. He has quite a modeling career going these days – too bad he has no time for college. Simon Cowell and his fiancee Lauren Silverman were also at the event – all the other men wore tuxes, but Simon is accustomed to showing off his irresistible chest – and ignored the formal invitation.

We have never seen a SON so closely resemble his mother. In fact, Damian Hurley, 19, is the image of his famously beautiful mother Elizabeth Hurley, and bears no resemblance to his wealthy father Steve Bing, who committed suicide by jumping out of the window of his Century City apartment on the 27th floor. Steve cut Damian OUT of his will, so the handsome teen is making money as a model. This is a photo from his Free People campaign and it does raise the question: gay or straight? Or somewhere in between? Damian and his mother insist “straight,” but he’s certainly not the average male model…

ELIZABETH HURLEY’S MODEL SON DAMIAN CAN STRIKE A POSE

We find the relationship between Elizabeth Hurley and her son actor/model Damian, 19, weirdly fascinating. Not only do they look almost exactly alike, but they have the SAME haircut. (Damian looks nothing like his wealthy father Steve Bing, who killed himself last year by jumping out the window of his 27th floor Century City apartment.) Elizabeth and Damian turned up at the Versace show in Milan – both showing some skin- but at least Damian had the sense not to wear a Versace gold print. Note that Damian is not above striking some open-mouth model poses for paparazzi. Elizabeth says Damian is an A student and she hopes he will continue with his education and just do modeling on the side, but that seems improbable…

DAMIAN HURLEY IS THE ULTIMATE “PRETTY BOY”

It looks like Damian Hurley, 18, will have to fight for an inheritance from his wealthy father Steve Bing. Bing committed suicide in June and his will, written in 2001, specifically left OUT any children whether born yet or not. At that time, actress Elizabeth Hurley was pregnant with Damian, but Bing doubted that the child was his. Damien may eventually get some kind of inheritance, but in the meantime his modeling career is thriving. His astonishing resemblance to his beautiful mother (he even has the same haircut) has put this pretty boy in demand and he’s making the most of it.

Elizabeth Hurley’s son Damian continues to lead a charmed life. First of all, he was born with his MOTHER’S good looks- in fact he’s a dead ringer for her. (It’s ALMOST creepy) Sadly, aspiring actor/model Damian never met his estranged father, billionaire Steve Bing, who committed suicide in June. But Bing left behind a note for his son, and Damian will be inheriting quite a lot of money now that he has turned eighteen. Talk about “born lucky.” Elizabeth Hurley’s lookalike son Damian is only 16 years old and he already has a modeling contract and has appeared on The Royals TV series. Businessman/playboy Steve Bing, whose family fortune is estimated to be 600 million, is Damian’s father, and Bing was NOT happy about it. ELIZABETH HURLEY AND THE ANNABEL’S DOORMEN

This photo of Elizabeth Hurley (red dress) leaving Annabel’s legendary club in London caught our eye, not because of the lamp in her hand (a gift from the club manager perhaps?) but the DOORMEN leading her out. We have never seen security guards, bouncers, doormen – whatever you want to call them – dressed in anything but tight, black clothing to show off their muscles. These delightful flowery print suits are a revelation. No matter how fierce their faces are, the clothing is amusing. Leave it to the Brits to find humor in doorman apparel. Remember, some famous guys have been bouncers in NY – Dolph Lundgren at Limelight, and Vin Diesel at The Tunnel.
