KRIS KARDASHIAN IS PUSHING HER KIDS INTO THE SPOTLIGHT

We just heard an amusing Kardashian story that happened a recent Laker game. Khloe was there to watch her husband Lamar Odom, along with her mother Kris and her little sister Kendall Jenner. The Kardashians’ managerial stage mom Kris just landed a modeling job at Forever 21 for the 14 year old Kendall and she was BURSTING with pride. Kris tried to get Kendall featured on the Jumbotron with other celebrities, but the PR director wasn’t impressed with the 14 year old, and turned her DOWN. Kris was outraged and stormed off in a huff. During half time she was in the backstage ladies room that was crowded with Laker wives, and she couldn’t contain her fury. “How DARE they say no to me! They don’t know WHO they’re messing with!” she hissed at Khloe. Women turned to stare and Khloe got embarrassed “Please Mom, shhh – let’s drop it!” Kris is turning into quite a stage mother.

BRAD PITT COULDN'T GET THE GATE OPEN

Brad Pitt had a meeting at Chateau Marmont and rode home on his custom motorcycle. He hoped to zoom right into the gated community where he’s living but he was locked out! He rang the bell and made several calls but the gate didn’t open. So he just had to sit there and have his picture taken. Finally a neighbor came home and let him in. Angelina Jolie returned home a few minutes later.

At first, when someone told us this was Alyssa Milano at the HBO Emmy party we were horrified and convinced it was an impersonator. Surely Alyssa would not dress up like a demented cha cha dancer! It just didn’t LOOK like the Alyssa we remember. If not an impersonator, we suspected she had been subjected to a serious and terrifying makeover- perhaps including plastic surgery and dentistry. We’ve always found Alyssa to be naturally cute and not overbearing. Sad to say, it really WAS her and there seems to be no excuse for this flouncy get-up.
NEWSFLASH UPDATE !! Our first instincts were right! We are thrilled to announce that this is NOT Alyssa Milano! Just this morning channel 5 discussed “Alyssa’s fashion disaster” – they were fooled too. This woman has been identified as Christina de Rosa. It’s a relief!

PAT O'BRIEN COULDN'T KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT

Pat O’Brien had plenty of chances to do the right thing and keep his job at The Insider but his astonishing ego and arrogance (perhaps fueled by substance abuse) got the best of him. He should have lost his job a few years ago when those sexually graphic voicemails surfaced. We don’t believe for a minute that this was an “amicable” parting. That email he sent to coworkers complaining about the host who replaced him, Lara Spencer, and her fashion commentary HAD to be written by a man under the influence. We’re betting he’ll check right back into rehab (for the third time in 3 years.) But this time The Insider won’t be paying for it.

RICHARD BELZER TAKES BEBE EVERYWHERE

It’s Richard Belzer of Last Comic Standing again with his photogenic constant companion Bebe. Bebe is still welcome everywhere in spite of the fact that she puked on live TV. Richard was guesting on MSNBC and cohost Mika was holding the pooch on her lap when Bebe got sick. Everyone leaped to their feet and Mika couldn’t stop laughing. She declared “My dog does it all the time!” and all was forgiven. When you’re cute you can get away with a lot.

Nobody’s perfect. Her stylist must have had the day off when Rihanna turned up at the Kid’s Choice Awards in this outfit. Left to her own devices, the usually stylish singer unfortunately combined a bustier and baggy harem pants that have nothing in common and certainly aren’t flattering. It’s a good thing she’s so cute.

We weren’t all that surprised to hear that Robin Williams’ nineteen year marriage to Marsha Garces is over. The hyperactive comic may be a nice guy but he can’t be that easy to live with. He sweats profusely. With minimal exertion he can become completely drenched. Robin used to shop at a posh men’s designer clothing store in San Francisco. They didn’t want their garments ruined with sweat stains when he tried things on, so they had a special long sleeved t shirt they kept behind the counter just for him. He put it on before he tried anything on. After he left, they laundered the shirt so it would be ready for his next visit. Hopefully he has cooled down with age.

THE LATE HEATH LEDGER: CNN DIDN'T DO HIM JUSTICE

CNN should be ashamed of it’s coverage of the Heath Ledger tragedy. In the hours after his death became known, CNN had continuous live coverage and there were few facts revealed at that time so their TV personality filled the air space by chattering endlessly and aimlessly about suicide and depression. The brunette news person had come up with a dumb theory that Heath had become so disturbed and distressed playing his dark Joker character that he took his own life in despair! An INSULT to the memory of the intelligent actor and the people who loved him – and an insult to viewers! The woman proposed her absurd theory over and over to several “guest experts” who scoffed and reminded her that Heath was a professional actor who knew the difference between movies and real life. The CNN woman’s brainless speculation was enough to send viewers by the droves to TMZ.
