Not only is she concerned about a jewel heist, but she doesn’t want to risk LOSING the ring in the ocean while she’s jumping off her yacht in the Mediterranean.

We’ve seen a lot of oversize diamond rings flashed around Hollywood and they all supposedly had astronomical prices. It was doubtful that the gems were top quality and obviously the value was exaggerated. BIG isn’t everything. Angelina Jolie’s engagement ring is different. It’s spectacular in its design simplicity and obvious quality and almost has an art deco feeling. Brad did an artful job of designing – it’s even better than the ring he did for Jennifer Aniston. And nobody’s bragging about the high price. This exquisite ring is going to be knocked off like crazy – somebody in China is probably already wearing one.

Kim Kardashian and her fiancee Kris Humphries and THE RING are in Minneapolis visiting his family and the couple was seen loading up on items for a cookout on Saturday – at Costco! According to our hardworking pal CJ at the Star Tribune, they had a cart full of bratwurst, chips, soda, etc when they paused at a bin full of watermelons. Kris turned to Kim and asked “How do you tell when a watermelon is ripe?” Kim made an “I don’t know” face, but a helpful stranger offered “I can help you” and showed them how to tap the melons for the ripe sound. Imagine tapping watermelons at Costco wearing a two million dollar ring!
