MADONNA AND WEIRD AL? NO WAY!

Madonna must be SO flattered right now. It’s HER 80’s image that is being used to promote the new movie Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. Apparently the image of Daniel Radcliffe, who is starring as Al, is not enough. Evan Rachel Wood is doing a nice take on Madonna in the film and her scenes (including a make-out scene) with Daniel are being widely promoted. Readers are confused – did Madonna and Al have a relationship? Absolutely NOT. They probably never met. This movie is NOT a life story – it’s a complete parody. Al’s character has celebrity affairs, a depraved lifestyle, and lives in a gaudy mansion. The real Al never smoked, drank or even cussed. The confusion is deliberate. Madonna must be answering LOTS of questions about Al today…

MARILYN MANSON: IT’S NOT OVER UNTIL IT’S OVER!

Wow. Just when we thought Marilyn Manson’s career was OVER because SO many women accused him of sexual misconduct during the past year, HE is suing his ex Evan Rachel Wood for defamation and claiming that she organized the other women who testified against him. He was no doubt motivated by Wood’s upcoming documentary Phoenix Rising examining his alleged misbehavior. In the lawsuit, Manson claims that Wood conspired with a woman (who might be her girlfriend) named Ashley Gore to recruit prospective accusers and provide them with scripts. He says Wood never accused him of wrongdoing until she met Gore, who talked her into becoming a symbol of domestic abuse, although it happened ten years earlier. Manson insists that the multiple charges against him are the result of a well-planned conspiracy. THIS could be a very interesting courtroom drama…

MARILYN MANSON’S WIFE IS ALSO A MYSTERY

This is a photo of the woman that we recently discovered is married to Marilyn Manson. They had a FaceTime wedding last year during the pandemic and Nicolas Cage was the only online guest. Lindsay Usich has been described as a tattoo artist, a photographer, and an artist – she’s 36 and has an equally attractive twin sister. Since the abuse scandal broke, she and Manson have been hiding out at his LA home which now has 24 hour security guards. (Marilyn is described as paranoid.) EVERYONE is wondering what IS the story with Lindsay – is SHE being abused or tormented by Marilyn and keeping it to herself? Evan Rachel Wood accused Lindsay of trying to blackmail her last December with embarrassing photos taken when she was underage with Marilyn, and she filed a police report. Looks like Lindsay can take care of herself…

INSTAGRAM ZAPPED MARILYN MANSON’S CAREER IN ONE WEEK

We’re betting that even Evan Rachel Wood is shocked by the power of Instagram. It was only last Monday that she posted her accusations of abuse against Marilyn Manson and his life has changed forever in a matter of days. As we write, Evan has not given any interviews- it was her Instagram claims that alerted other women who came forward with THEIR Manson stories. Dita Von Teese and Rose McGowan elegantly announced on Instagram that they were not abused in their relationships with Manson, but they fully supported Wood and others. Interviews with Manson talking about violence against women popped up. Marilyn Manson immediately lost his record label, his agent, and upcoming TV appearances. He was literally canceled in a single week. He is already claiming that his shocking and gruesome stage persona is responsible for these “horrible distortions of reality,” but he’s got an uphill battle. Do not underestimate the power of Instagram. (Personally, we were sad to hear these things about Manson – we always liked him)

MARILYN MANSON MIGHT BE WORSE THAN YOU EVEN IMAGINED

We can’t help but wonder how Marilyn Manson is reacting to recent revelations made by his ex-girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood. Evan has been documenting her domestic abuse from an un-named exboyfriend while fighting to change California domestic violence laws. There’s little doubt who that boyfriend WAS. Manson, then 36, was still married to Dita Von Teese when he started seeing 18 year old Evan. Evan admitted she was thrilled by the attention from an older and very successful man. She said this man turned out to be not only powerful and charismatic, but sadistic. She suffered “death threats, brainwashing, humiliation, rape, torture, and shame.” When they finally split, it took years of therapy for her to rebuild her life. Now she wants to help other women. We think she WILL name Marilyn as her abuser.

Todd Haynes can do no wrong in our book, because he’s responsible for one of our all time favorite movies – “Far From Heaven.” So we are eagerly anticipating Todd’s HBO version of “Mildred Pierce” airing in March. The miniseries stars Kate Winslet, Guy Pierce, and Evan Rachel Wood as Veda, the poisonous daughter. Joan Crawford’s pumps are hard to fill, but we hear Kate does an amazing job. Just about everyone agreed that the “Whatever Works” actress was better off without the 19 years older Manson when they broke up. In fact, Zelda (Robin Williams’ daughter) is a friend of both Shane and Evan. The three of them attended Shane’s celebrity studded birthday party at Bardot in June together. Right now Shane can’t decide whether to be a rockstar and replace Darby Crash in The Germs, front his own band, or just be an actor.
