RANDY AND EVI QUAID ARE THE NEW BONNIE & CLYDE

The recently arrested Randy (“Brokeback Mountain”) Quaid and his crazy wife Evi seem to be the new Bonnie & Clyde of Hollywood. Besides running up exorbitant bills at expensive hotels and skipping off without paying, they escaped in a Hertz rental car that was reported missing. Not long ago Evi hired a private detective because she believed that “the same people who killed David Carradine” were after her husband. The detective ended up getting a restraining order against the Quaids – she told radaronline.com that Evi kept her drug use and spending hidden from her husband and the shaken detective feared that Evi might kill Randy and/or herself. We predict rehab is dead ahead for these two.

This cute actress has been marketed as the next big thing, thanks to her role on a somewhat popular series, but she’ll have a hard time living up to the hype. It happened in 2000: One of Whitney Houston’s alltime favorite movies has always been the tearjerker “Love Story.” She’s hoping to update and remake the move starring herself and her husband Bobby Brown as the doomed couple originally played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal. Whitney realizes audiences might have a hard time swallowing Bobby as the wealthy and refined young man so she plans to switch the roles and have the female character from the right side of the tracks. She’s already working on a script and hopes to start filming before the end of the year. (As we all know, it didn’t work out….)
