Father’s Day

RITA WILSON KNOWS SHE GOT LUCKY

Obviously Rita Wilson appreciated her husband Tom Hanks chivalrous response to a fan shoving her to get closer to him – among other things. For Father’s Day, she posted this appealing photo captioned “Happy Father’s Day!!! He can do it all”

MADONNA WANTS FATHER’S DAY CREDIT

Madonna was NOT about to be left out on Father’s Day! She wants the world to know she is the single mother of six kids. Her oldest, Lourdes Leon and Rocco Ritchie are off on their own, (probably with their dads) but she’s in charge of David, Mercy, Estere, and Stelle, and we hear that she’s a rigorous but caring mother. Love this photo with the kids crowded around, but we get a glimpse of mom’s fishnet clad legs…

GUY RITCHIE IS LIVING HAPPILY EVER AFTER

Guy Ritchie, 47, has no complaints about his life. He and his beautiful wife Jacqui Ainsley (mother to three of his kids) attended an event in London this week looking spectacular. Apparently he’s settled his feud with Madonna over their son Rocco and the teen is spending most of his time with Guy. Guy’s two sons with Madonna plus her daughter Lourdes, all made a point to spend Father’s Day in London with Guy’s family. Ritchie’s next film is Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur starring the delectable Charlie Hunnam. If it’s a hit it could develop into a 6 film series, but that sounds optimistic, to say the least.

FATHER’S DAY SHOULD BE ALL ABOUT FUN

It’s Father’s Day so we’re taking a second look at JC Penney’s much discussed gay dads ad. The advertisement features real life couple Cooper Smith and Todd Koch and their kids Mason and Claire. It’s nice to see the store following in the footsteps of HGTV, which has nonchalantly been presenting gay couples for many years. Chexydecimal cleverly pointed out that this Hanes ad from 1950 might be interpreted as the precursor to the JC Penney ad!
Happy Father’s Day to all of you lucky enough to BE fathers or HAVE fathers!
