RICKY MARTIN’S FOOT FETISH COULD PAY OFF

Ricky Martin recently made headlines (and raised eyebrows!) when he revealed he has a foot fetish and likes massaging and kissing men’s feet, but I think that was part of a bigger plan: According to an insider, Ricky has been working on a line of comfortable yet stylish shoes for men and timed his foot fetish announcement as a precursor to launching the collection. In the early 2000’s, I can remember when Ricky would visit a building a friend of mine lived in. The street would be blocked and he seemed to have more security detail than the president. A few years ago, I was very excited when he came to my house to do a magazine photoshoot and interview – he even posed for a pic with me and my Wire Fox Terrier Lulu. Fame can be fleeting, and while he’s managed to stay reasonably relevant, my source says Ricky is turning to footwear as a new source of revenue. He’s seen celebrities like Jessica Simpson earn millions from their shoe lines and hopes to mimic that success.

WHY DIANE KEATON CHOSE BARE FEET FOR WALK OF FAME

Diane Keaton was giddy with excitement today because she put her handprints and footprints in cement in front of the Chinese Theater on Hollywood Blvd. She took a close look at the wet cement and decided no way was she going to dip her $1300 Maxfield black boots into THAT! So she sat down and removed her expensive boots and polka dot socks and used her BARE FEET for the footprints. Come to think of it, she might be the ONLY pair of bare feet on the Walk of Fame. Her adopted kids, Dexter, 27, and Duke, 22, were at the ceremony to cheer her on.

Steven Tyler happened to be in London for a performance at The Forum and his daughter Liv Tyler and her family happened to be in Europe so the family got together at Disneyland Paris. Liv was careful to keep he boyfriend David Gardner and their two children OUT of the photos that ended up online. It can’t be easy being Steven Tyler’s daughter – he once hit on Liv’s friend Cameron Diaz and Liv was absolutely furious. Lucky for Liv, she inherited her model mother Bebe Buell’s good looks. EVEN THE FORMIDABLE LADY GAGA HAS A WEAK SPOT

A talkative friend of ours HAPPENED to be on the set of Lady Gaga’s TV series American Horror Story and we asked her every question in the book. Our spy observed that GaGa is clearly not as experienced as the other actors, but she loves doing it and has a quirky talent for being highly watchable. “With a little training she could win an Oscar someday” we were told. Only five feet tall, Gaga pays the price for wearing those insanely high heels – her feet hurt all the time. Consequently, she has a masseuse on the set every day who manipulates her tootsies between shots. That’s our girl!

OPRAH’S FEET DON’T LIKE VINTAGE SHOES

Ouch! Oprah Winfrey’s feet are rebelling on the set of The Butler, now filming in New Orleans, Louisiana. She wears huge bouffant wigs and appropriate vintage clothing and shoes for her role as the wife of the White House butler played by Forest Whitaker. The movie spans several decades and Oprah has a massive wardrobe with appropriately painful shoes. Even her striped flats were hurting her as she arrived on the set today, so she took them off until the cameras rolled.

OPRAH’S FEET ARE REBELLING AGAINST LOUBOUTINS

Billionaire Oprah Winfrey has always lamented the fact that she’s usually too big to fit into designer clothes. However she was always able to indulge in the world’s sexiest and most glamorous shoes. Her red soled Louboutins became her trademark on her TV show. But sadly, over the years her bunions became more painful and swollen, and she had to wear flat comfy shoes off camera and just slip on the fancy ones for the show. Wearing expensive stilettos and platforms for big events makes Oprah miserable and she can’t wait to take her gorgeous shoes off.
