Now why would that be? Kylie Jenner just had dinner at Nobu in Malibu with her friend, singer Harry Hudson, Caitlyn Jenner (her father) and Caitlyn’s roommate Sophia Hutchins. Everybody walked out looking happy, but Kylie spotted a paparazzi and immediately made a big deal about ducking and covering her face. The others looked surprised at her reaction. Was Kylie embarrassed by the Forbes “youngest billionaire” scandal? Or does she just hate having her photo taken without benefit of photoshopping? You be the judge…

How funny is the news that Kylie Jenner and her mother Kris Jenner submitted FAKE documents to Forbes magazine so she could claim the title of Youngest Billionaire – thanks to her cosmetic company? She stole the title from Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, who became a billionaire at 23. The situation illustrates just how FAR the Kardashians will go to gain publicity. Lying is obviously never out of the question – remember, Kylie lied about her lip fillers for years before reluctantly telling the truth. Caught in the act, Kylie was dismissive and responded to Forbes “We’re in a pandemic- don’t you have bigger things to think about?”

We didn’t realize that Kanye West was steaming mad when Forbes magazine’s annual Billionaire’s List featured Kylie Jenner, but NOT HIM! West said he felt “snubbed” and “disrespected” and immediately sent Forbes information documenting his assets, along with a grammatically challenged text complaining that they didn’t give him credit “because of his race.” Forbes examined his information and calculated his worth at slightly over a billion dollars, but Kanye insists they can’t add – he’s worth 3 billion and wants to flaunt it!

When we walked out of her movie “Snatched” we were ready to give up on Amy Schumer. It was all just too dumb and embarrassing for the actors involved. Too vulgar and lacking subtlety. Sometimes Amy IS really funny, but all too often she relies on imitating male comics with gross humor. But since we learned that she is the FIRST AND ONLY female comic to make the Forbes list of Highest Paid Comics (in 2016) we’re willing to make allowances and forgive her shortcomings. She’s smart and making progress for women in the boys’ club world of comedy and we need more women like her!

We can’t stop thinking about Forbes list of The Most Overpaid Actors in Hollywood. Specifically the actors whose films didn’t make enough money to justify their absurd salaries. Here’s the list if you haven’t seen it:
I Johnny Depp (Topped list second year in a row!)

4 Will Ferrell

6 Adam Sandler (We’re surprised he isn’t first every year)

Our first thought is sad – only one female is on the list, emphasizing the fact that women are grossly underpaid in Hollywood.
Our second thought was: is this an EMBARRASSMENT or an ACCOMPLISHMENT for those on the list? Are the massively overpaid actors secretly thrilled at getting those huge undeserved salaries or disappointed at their boxoffice failures? It could go either way, but we’re betting they’re proud to be on the list. One thing for sure- these actors’ agents are bragging all over the office!

Kanye West uses the art of distraction nearly as well as a certain presidential candidate. He recently bragged that he was “bigger than the Pope” by pointing out that he sold more t-shirts at his Madison Square Garden performance than the Pope did. He certainly did NOT want to acknowledge Forbes new list of The Forbes Five – the highest earning hip hop artists of the year. Kanye’s rival, Diddy was number one, followed by Dre, Jay Z, 50 Cent, and Birdman. Kanye, despite outselling the Pope with his overpriced t-shirts and bragging incessantly, didn’t even make it into the TOP TEN!

Robert Downey Jr is walking proof that you CAN turn your life around. He went from hitchhiking in his pajamas in Marina Del Rey after escaping from rehab in the 90’s, to being the Highest Paid Actor in Hollywood for two years in a row according to Forbes magazine. From 1996 to 2002, Downey was arrested and rehabbed numerous times for drug offenses, and also spent a year in prison. So it’s pretty amazing that he earned 75 million dollars between June 2013, and June 2014, thanks to his Iron Man and Avengers movies. It helps that he’s an extremely likeable guy. When Jimmy Kimmel heard about the Forbes report, he remarked ”He’s come a long way – I remember when he was just the highest actor in Hollywood.”

Ah, the trials and tribulations of being a top supermodel! Forbes magazine placed Gisele Bundchen as number one earner on their prestigious Supermodel Rich List. According to Forbes calculations, she took in 42 million dollars in spite of having a baby last year. Her earnings are estimated according to photoshoots, licensing, beauty and fashion contracts, etc. Little did Gisele realize that this #1 success title would arouse the intense interest of the IRS. Yup, she’s being audited! And she’s not happy.
Celine Dion brought her family backstage to visit the cast of “Beauty and the Beast” in Las Vegas where she too is currently performing at Caesar’s Palace. Her twins Eddy and Nelson are one and a half and they look more like her 11 year old son Rene and her husband every day. According to the LA Times, Celine was the top earning woman in music for the decade ending in 2010, but she didn’t make the top ten this year according to Forbes. That’s what happens when you take time off to raise babies. Don’t worry, she still has plenty of money to buy shoes…
