MADONNA: DITCH THE FUR!

Bad idea. Madonna posted a series of sexy photos of herself in heels and what appears to be a real fur coat, captioned “In the Mood for Love” while the Miles Davis song of the same name played. And you know she MEANS it, because she brought out the fishnets. Even her most devoted fans are irate because she is squirming and caressing this fur coat, implying that she has no regard for animals. Fur coats are no longer sexy. Or acceptable. (And it might be a good idea to stop bleaching the eyebrows…)

SAWEETIE FLAUNTS HER DEAD ANIMALS

Little did rapper Saweetie realize when she arrived at at the Laker’s game this weekend, that she would be bombarded by anti-fur protesters. But she was kind of asking for it. Check out that voluptuous hooded (fox?) fur jacket she’s flaunting – how many animals died so Saweetie could stay warm – in Los Angeles, of all places! These days it’s more fashionable to have a fur LINED coat if necessary, and keep the crime to yourself…

Demonstration Dolce & Gabbana Fur Milan Protest

CELEBRITY WARNING: WHAT NOT TO WEAR IN MILAN

Whatever you do, don’t even THINK about wearing fur in the Via Monte Napoleone shopping district in Milan. Protesters called “vegan hyenas” were demonstrating in front of Dolce & Gabbana and they turned their attention to any shoppers walking by wearing so much as a fur collar! Shouting protestors flashed their “blood” covered bodies to illustrate how animals are skinned so wealthy people can adorn themselves. No wonder Bloomingdale’s just closed their fur department here in LA…

TIFFANY HADDISH AND HER LOUSY EXCUSE FOR WEARING FUR

A few months age, Tiffany Haddish posted a photo of herself wearing a fur vest on Instagram, happily explaining “I’m going to wear fur every day until the police stop killing black >people. So sorry PETA, don’t be mad at me – be mad at the police!” Kareem Abdul Jabbar questioned the connection between wearing fur and stopping police brutality against people of color in The Hollywood Reporter. He pointed out ”Those committing brutality against other humans aren’t going to be concerned about brutality against animals. And how does needlessly harming an animal for no other reason than to gild one’s ego improve humanity? Jabbar finds Tiffany “charming and talented” but he felt her form of free speech might make the public take the issue of police brutality less seriously. And he doesn’t like the idea of wearing fur, either…

NORTH WEST IS LEARNING TO WEAR FUR AT AN EARLY AGE

Is it okay for a baby to wear a fur coat to the mall when it’s 60 degrees outside? Her parents are dressing cute little North West in Kanye’s designs topped off with what looks like real fur. To be honest, we’re not sure, but is it really necessary?

CHRIS BROWN HAS LITTLE RESPECT FOR PEOPLE OR ANIMALS

How many foxes had to give up their lives so Chris Brown and Karreuche Tran could look glamorous at Fashion Week in New York? One is too many. Chris and Karreuche were a decorative addition to the front row at Michael Costello’s fashion show. Chris Brown seems drawn to socially unacceptable behavior when it comes to animals as well as people. He BREEDS Pit Bulls (when there are thousands in cages at animal shelters, desperate to be rescued) and now he and his girlfriend drape themselves in what appears to be animal fur.

Fur Lindsay Lohan Sticky Fingers

UH-OH! LINDSAY LOHAN IS WRAPPED IN FUR AGAIN!

Lindsay Lohan is making the club rounds in London in a fur coat these days and we can’s help remembering the LAST TIME we saw her in fur. Stickyfingers Lohan was partying at 1Oak in New York and had the nerve to snatch SOMEONE ELSE’S blond mink coat and wear it out the door. The owner couldn’t imagine WHO lifted her coat until she saw paparazzi photos of Lindsay mindlessly flaunting the garment the next day! Her lawyer demanded the coat back and it was begrudgingly returned reeking of smoke. Hopefully Lindsay acquired the coat above in a more acceptable way.

It looks like Paul McCartney and Rita Ora were pushed together for a photo op at a London fashion show because they don’t seem to know each other. We wonder if Rita is feeling weird and guilty about the fur jacket she has stuffed on the floor beside her because Paul is an anti-fur activist. It’s not a good start for a friendship. Fur Suri Cruise Tom Cruise

SURI CRUISE GOT HER FIRST FUR COAT

Suri’s daddy Tom Cruise flew his little girl to London for a visit last week in his private jet and when she returned she was wearing a fur coat! Fake fur, but she loves it and hasn’t taken it off since she got back. Suri, 6, has also started wearing more sensible shoes because she covers a lot of territory. She keeps herself very busy with school and running to and from tennis, ballet, and Mandarin classes.

LADY GAGA WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET YOUR ATTENTION

We’ve decided that anybody who tries as hard as Lady Gaga does to get our attention, DESERVES to be photographed. She’s still in London for Fashion Week and she changes into one bizarre outfit after another all day long. Such attention to detail! One of today’s get-ups featured a CLIMATE REVOLUTION t- shirt and she showed her partially shaved head. Yesterday she attended Philip Treacy’s catwalk show and she wrapped herself in a burka lined with fur and still later, gigantic Mickey Mouse ears.
