At 6’3”, English actress Gwendolyn Christie was discouraged early on from becoming an actress, but she persevered. She started out playing awkward office workers, aliens, policewomen, and finally landed a role in Game of Thrones. That changed everything. Suddenly designers “discovered” her and they love to take advantage of the fact that she attracts a lot of attention. Lately Gwendolyn has been turning up on red carpets looking fabulous and she’s in Paris right now fearlessly flashing this Rick Owens creation.

AGAINST ALL ODDS, GWENDOLINE CHRISTIE PREVAILED

SO nice to see Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie looking glamorous and in charge. It’s not easy to succeed as an actress when you’re 6’3” tall and weigh 185 pounds. Few male actors are that tall. When she studied in drama school, Gwendoline was discouraged at every turn – she was told “Good luck” getting into movies. But she was inspired by Tilda Swinton, who also seemed NOT to fit the movie star mold. Gwendolyn started out playing supporting roles as gawky secretaries or “best friends.” Game of Thrones changed everything. Now she confidently wears high heels to premiers!

HOLD ON- THE SEXIEST MAN ALIVE IS AT THE AIRPORT!

Shockingly handsome Jason Momoa, 37, sticks out like a sore thumb in a crowd at the airport. We wonder if a lot of people are intimidated by the hulking Game of Thrones actor. However it IS impossible to take your eyes off him, if you are lucky enough to run into him. We always wondered how he got that eyebrow scar – it turns out he was in a brawl in a Hollywood bar a few years ago and got hit with a broken beer glass in the face. It took 140 stitches to close, plus reconstructive surgery. He says it got rid of the “pretty boy” image he had as a young model. We might even see Aquaman just because he’s the star.

GAME OF THRONES BRUTE JASON MOMOA IS A SOFTIE

Any time we have the opportunity to publish a photo of Jason Momoa, we do so. He is exceedingly photogenic. In person, he is even more devastating and bigger than life. Game of Thrones is a huge hit in Brazil so he flew to Sao Paolo for the Comic-Con event there. Fans at the airport immediately started chasing after him and begging for photos. He good-naturedly obliged, indicating he’s not as fierce as he looks.

JASON MOMOA JUST MIGHT HAVE A CHICKEN LEG IN HIS POCKET

Even with a beard, Jason Momoa is so handsome you could faint. The 6’4” Game of Thrones hunk most probably has been cast as Aquaman in “Batman vs Superman,” which indicates a big payday. (Didn’t Entourage’s Vincent Chase already play that role?) He admits he has to eat every two hours to keep that huge physique operating efficiently so he tries to carry food in his pocket at all times. Jason’s “Red Road” costar Tom Sizemore says that the intimidating Jason reminds him of Marlon Brando.

Popular Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage leads a quiet life in upstate New York with his theater director wife Erica Schmidt (above) and their daughter born in 2011, so the family is rarely photographed. Emmy and Golden Globe winner Peter is so secretive about his private life that he’s never revealed the name of his little girl. This is the first photo we’ve seen of them – Peter was happily whistling a tune and pushing her stroller around Manhattan.

He’s been seeing Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke, 25, from England for the past few months and they showed up at Emmy parties together. But it’s not always glitzy with Seth- he took Emilia to Mel’s Diner for lunch today.
