Since she came out, Robin Roberts has become the toast of the gay community. Her popularity has resulted in tons of invitations. In particular, Robin has been invited to be Grand Marshall in gay parades in San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles. She hasn’t said yes to any of them yet – but hopes to do at least one, if it fits into her work schedule.
Does housebound Zsa Zsa Gabor know WHAT her husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt is spending her money on? We didn’t realize he had a fancy horse drawn carriage in the West Hollywood Gay Parade and a huge banner saying PRINCE FOR GOVERNOR.COM. Mr Gabor, who declared himself an independent candidate for Governor of California, wore a lavish military outfit with fringed epaulets and riding boots and, best of all, he was smoking a huge smelly cigar! He is undoubtedly distraught since his favorite Starbucks in West Hollywood banned smoking to 20 feet from the door.
Now we’re getting really worried about Kelly Osbourne’s fashion inspiration. Her long and flowing flower print chiffon caftan dress and grey bouffant updo makes us think of an opera singer or Elizabeth Taylor during the chubby years. And Kelly has never been slimmer! Surprising choice for the Gay Pride Parade, since Kelly doesn’t NEED to disguise her figure. Even odder was the fact that Kelly and her mother Sharon wore identical mother- daughter versions of this dress for the event!

Chelsea Handler and her right hand man Chuy jumped right in and took part in the Gay Pride Celebration in West Hollywood. Her gay-friendly E! talk show Chelsea Lately has been renewed up until 2012. THAT’S confidence. Ratings are excellent, but it doesn’t hurt that Chelsea is still dating Ted Harbert, CEO of Comcast Entertainment Group, which controls E!

Sacha Baron Cohen and his very pregnant girlfriend Isla Fisher turned up at the Gay Parade in West Hollywood this weekend. They weren’t IN the parade – they were simply watching from the sidelines and barely noticed. We can’t help but wonder is Sacha is doing research for his new character Bruno – the gay Austrian fashion reporter. Sacha hoped to take the character Bruno to fashion week in New York, but since Borat it seems he’s too popular and well known to fool many people there.
