ADAM LAMBERT IS THE MODERN LIBERACE

This how Adam Lambert looked while walking around New York this week and we couldn’t help being reminded of Liberace! Back in the 1960’s, Liberace was an extremely flamboyant Las Vegas entertainer with a penchant for fur coats, glittery sport jackets, and feather CAPES. He also flaunted a lacquered high pompadour – comparable to Adam’s hair. Liberace insisted he was NOT gay his entire life. He even sued a UK paper for implying he WAS, and won a considerable amount of money. Before he died Liberace was sued by a 22 year old ex-boyfriend/chauffeur for palimony and they settled out of court. Adam, who never leaves the house without eyeliner, waited until after he LOST on American Idol to talk about being gay. Would he have confessed if he had WON first place on the show? Probably…

ELLIOT PAGE HAS A LOT TO SAY ABOUT HOLLYWOOD

Elliot Page was the first Oscar nominated actress (Ellen Page in Juno) to come out as transgender in Hollywood history. He made the announcement over two years ago and his career is understandably up in the air right now. Determined to make the best of it, Elliot is writing a memoir called Pageboy and it already sold to a publisher for 3 million dollars. It looks like it will be a guessing game of homophobic Hollywood bullies and we hope there are lots of clues. Not only did a male director try to seduce Ellen at the age of 16, but a HUGE movie star got drunk at a party and went on a homophobic rampage, embarrassing Page when she first came out as gay. Put Pageboy on your Christmas list for 2023.

IS DAMIAN HURLEY GAY OR STRAIGHT?

We have never seen a SON so closely resemble his mother. In fact, Damian Hurley, 19, is the image of his famously beautiful mother Elizabeth Hurley, and bears no resemblance to his wealthy father Steve Bing, who committed suicide by jumping out of the window of his Century City apartment on the 27th floor. Steve cut Damian OUT of his will, so the handsome teen is making money as a model. This is a photo from his Free People campaign and it does raise the question: gay or straight? Or somewhere in between? Damian and his mother insist “straight,” but he’s certainly not the average male model…

Colton Underwood Fame Gay Money The Bachelor

DON’T LET COLTON UNDERWOOD FOOL YOU!

Not for ONE tiny minute do we believe Colton Underwood couldn’t admit he was gay until he appeared on The Bachelor. Ridiculous! The 29 year old handsome football player was actually very interested in the FAME and MONEY he got from appearing on Bachelor shows for three seasons! He advertised himself as “The Virgin Bachelor,” after all. We WERE concerned when the woman he chose, Cassie Randolph, got a restraining order against him. (What was THAT about?) Today he “came out” to Robin Roberts, trying to make it seem like he was struggling with his sexuality UNTIL he appeared on The Bachelor, and the show helped him “decide” he was gay. Baloney. What helped him come out was the fat paycheck Netflix is now giving him to film his new gay identity series – that he HAPPENS to be promoting now. Colton did not “accidentally” deceive all those women and he’s not the hero he wants YOU to think he is.

TAN FRANCE: FIRST OUT GAY MUSLIM ON TV?

To think we almost FORGOT how amazing Tan France’s hair is! He has the pompadour of a lifetime- what a head of hair! The Queer Eye star, 36, lives up to his billing as a fashion expert. Tan was born Tanveer Safdar in the UK to Pakistani parents and he grew up gay in a Muslim family. (You can read more about THAT in his book Naturally Tan.) He studied design in college and worked in the fashion industry (including Chanel) until he married an illustrator named Rob France (hence the last name.) They live together in Salt Lake City. Today Tan was in New York visiting the Stephen Colbert show.

TOM FORD: “SLEEPING WITH MEN DOESN’T MAKE YOU GAY!”

When Tom Ford (who happens to hate women) was discussing his new collection in New York, he made a few comments that startled and riled up some of his fans – especially the gay ones. Tom hates the word “masculine” and he likes the fact that “fashion and sexuality have become more fluid.” Tom says “The new generation is great – guys paint their nails – no big deal. You’re a man sleeping with a man? So what – that doesn’t make you GAY!” The internet lit up with comments from outraged men. One wrote “As a gay man, that’s the dumbest thing I ever heard.” Another wisecracked “No, it doesn’t MAKE you gay, but it’s likely a good indication that you already ARE!” And that’s just the beginning…

When Twilight star Kristen Stewart was dating her leading man Rob Pattinson, she never seemed very pleasant or accessible. The couple obviously felt tortured because they were so famous and always swamped by fans. But after they split, Kristen REALLY moved on and started dating girls. She seemed to develop a sense of humor about herself and when she hosted SNL last month she came out as gay. (We’d love to know what Rob thinks about all this!) She also joked about Donald Trump tweeting back when they were together that Rob should dump her for cheating. And now that she’s bleached and buzzed her hair, we find her way easier to like and cooler…

Dinah Shore Weekend Gay Lady Gaga

LADY GAGA PARTIED WITH THE GIRLS AT DINAH SHORE WEEKEND

You’ve gotta give Lady Gaga credit – she doesn’t miss an opportunity to promote her music. Gaga turned up at the Club Skirts pool party during the Dinah Shore Weekend in Palm Springs. It’s a five day lesbian oriented music festival, and it’s hugely popular with the girls. Gaga visited Samantha Ronson, who was DJ at the pool party, and she hung out and schmoozed with all the gals. She was appropriately attired and had a good time dancing to the music. No men allowed.

Dolce & Gabbana Elton John Gay

IT’S TIME FOR ELTON JOHN TO SHUT HIS BIG MOUTH

Okay, so Dolce and Gabbana aren’t fans of IVF or gay families created using IVF – even though they are gay themselves. Aren’t they allowed to have an opinion- however much we may disagree with them? Ryan Murphy seems to be leading the charge against anyone who implies they do not fully support gays – although it seems he couldn’t care less about any one else marginalized – women, blacks, whatever. Let’s face it, women have always supported gays far more than gays have supported women. Certain gay celebrities seem to be LOOKING for imagined slights so they can loudly complain and incite action. Calling for a boycott against anyone who doesn’t agree with you is absurd. A personal boycott makes sense if you’re fanatical, but to try and destroy the business of someone who doesn’t share your ideals is vindictive. Get OVER yourself, Elton. If gay people can’t criticize gays, imagine what would happen if a straight person – or heaven forbid, a woman, did.

JOHN TRAVOLTA TURNS ON THE CHARM WITHOUT HIS TOUPEE

We can’t help but wonder what John Travolta, 60, was thinking when he posed for this selfie with a guy in his gym. He doesn’t have his hair on! Even more interesting, what was John doing working out AT 3 AM at Planet Fitness, not far from the Clearwater, Florida, Scientology center. The young male fan who posted the photo on Reddit was thrilled to see the actor and dumfounded when John asked him all sorts of personal questions like whether he was married and what did he do with his spare time. We already know what John does with HIS spare time. Actually, John is probably going bare-headed in preparation for his role as Robert Shapiro in “American Crime Story,” which details the OJ Simpson trial.
