BLAKE LIVELY AND RYAN REYNOLDS: MORE TO THEM THAN MEETS THE EYE

We are IMPRESSED with Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. They look particularly gorgeous in this photo taken at The Adam Project premier (starring Ryan) in New York, but that’s not even why we’re impressed. We didn’t realize how generous they are when it comes to charity – and they don’t go out of their way to brag about it. They just pledged to match donations up to a million dollars made to the United Nations Refugee Agency because millions of Ukrainian refugees are expected to need help. It turns out they have been giving away huge amounts of money for years – a few weeks ago they donated a million dollars to Feeding America and Food Bank Canada – after donating a million BEFORE Covid. And so on and so on… A great example for their kids…

Generous! Good Behavior Money Salary The Big Bang Theory

BIG BANG THEORY CAST MEMBERS ACTUALLY LIKE EACH OTHER!

We are SO impressed with The Big Bang Theory cast taking a pay cut so the two most recently added members can get a raise! This NEVER happens in Hollywood. Agents generally step in to make impossible demands and turn everyone against each other. Of course this series is a gold mine – it’s made a billion dollars world-wide, but that doesn’t stop leading characters from wanting MORE. Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar and Simon Helberg each agreed to cut their pay $100,000 a week so Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch can get a raise of $250,000 each. No surprise that this is a super-nice cast – last year Josh Brener, who was on the show for 3 years, found our runaway Bedlington Terrier trotting down the street and went out of his way to call and deliver Elvis back to our house. He said “I‘d like to have kept him but I already have too many dogs!”

KENDRA WILKINSON SHOWS HER SOFT SIDE

Here’s a nice story. Kendra Wilkinson was walking into a café for lunch with a friend in Calabasas when she noticed a woman with a baby asking for money. After she ate, Kendra went to Ralphs and bought a $200 gift card and gave it to the surprised woman. It’s better than cash – Kendra wanted to make sure the baby was fed.

GEORGE CLOONEY AND STACY KEIBLER: HER TWO YEARS ARE UP!

Gentleman George Clooney,52, has become highly predictable so we’re not surprised to hear that he and Stacy Keibler,33, have split up. The confirmed bachelor is a creature of habit – he’s attracted to slim blondes, decades younger than himself, and less successful than he is. He sweeps them off their feet and they always remain hopeful that they will be THE ONE who inspires George to get married. But two years later, like clockwork, the relationship is over. George is fine with the implication that the girlfriend left HIM because she wanted marriage and children. It makes the split smoother. He is also extremely generous with parting gifts (houses sometimes) so there are no hard feelings. We wonder what George gave Stacy as a goodbye gift.

Not long ago, George Clooney scolded Stacy Keibler for tweeting so much, but he made up for it over the holidays. He and Stacy are in Cabo San Lucas where they’ve been hanging on the beach with Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. George is living up to his generous reputation – he reportedly gave Stacy diamond jewelry and an Hermes bag for Christmas, among other things. And according to In Touch, there is a Porsche in the very near future for her. Since George has been giving Stacy a higher profile, she’s been flooded with money making offers for appearances etc. Ironically since she cut back on tweeting, Stacy has more followers than EVER.

JOHNNY DEPP IS KEEPING 500 PEOPLE WARM

We happen to be quite fond of Johnny Depp so we’re not at all surprised when he does something beyond the call of duty. He’s been filming “Pirates of the Caribbean 4” at Pinewood Studios in the UK, and the weather has been bitterly cold. After noticing a lot of teeth chattering and shivering among his coworkers, Johnny ordered warm and waterproof hiking jackets for EVERYONE on the production. According to The Sun, at $100 apiece, the bill came out to nearly $50,000 for the large cast and crew of 500.

In 2004 Reese Witherspoon attracted more than just everyday fans while shooting If Only It Were True on locations in San Francisco. Whenever she noticed homeless people near the set, Reese dashed to a nearby market and bought beverages and groceries for them. It didn’t take long for word to get out, and as days progressed there were more and more hopeful homeless people gathered around the location. It made some setsiders uncomfortable, but not Reese – until the movie wrapped she earnestly provided food for every hungry street person who showed up.

A 2003 kindness:
Pop singer Vanessa Carlton, then 22, must be a good influence on her then 38 year old boyfriend Third Eye Blind singer Stephan Jenkins. The pair was strolling in New York when they encountered a homeless man with a sign that read “Just hungry.” Vanessa impulsively pulled out a wad of money that looked like at least $300, and handed it to the homeless man. The man started to cry and kept repeating “God bless you!” Stephan and Vanessa walked away smiling and the guy went to a deli to buy something to eat.

2005: Kirsten Dunst had time on her hands one recent night so she drove up to In-N-Out in Hollywood and ordered a hundred hamburgers to go. According to a pal, Kirsten and her boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal spent nearly $200 at the fast food joint to feed the homeless! “They went through the drive -through around midnight, ordered the burgers and then handed them out at a nearby shelter,” their pals says. “That’s just the kind of people they are, very thoughtful and giving.” Don’t expect either of them to admit their good deed. “They’re not looking for any publicity,” their pal says. “But they have recruited some of their other Hollywood pals to follow their lead.”
