Believe it or not, that skinny guy is Gerard Butler. He and Jennifer Aniston dined on a yacht in Paris while they were in town promoting “The Bounty.” We’re struck by how slim Gerard looks- but then, Jennifer is an expert on weight control. When she was married to Brad she carefully monitored what they ate and encouraged working out – he was never in better shape. Maybe Gerard has been picking up a few diet tips from Jen. We’re betting fish and vegetables were on the menu that night.

We’re really happy to see Jennifer Aniston having some fun in the sun with Gerard Butler. Why Not? Gerard, who costarred with Jen in “The Bounty Hunter,” flew down to Cabo after Jen arrived with her friends Courteney Cox and David Arquette, Sheryl Crowe, and others. Apparently the group has a big hacienda with private guest houses on the property. Jen and Gerard stayed in a little casita not far from the main house. Gerard has the binoculars – is he looking for paparazzi? Jen is standing behind him. Nice way to spend a week.

Soho is the place to be. Gerard Butler looks perfectly content walking sdown the street sipping his coffee. And why not? He’s become the first choice to play the “boyfriend” for actresses in Hollywood over 30. He holds his own with women like Hilary Swank, Katherine Heigl, and Jennifer Aniston, without stealing their thunder as female leads. For the time being he’s in “a woman’s world” and he’s not complaining.

But Gerard Butler is no dummy – he was seen checking out the abundance of solo females at a Beverly Hills store opening. And he was in a good mood.

Gerry Butler -he prefers to be called Gerry – is not just another Colin Farrell. (Not that that’s a bad thing.) He’s just not the party boy he appears to be. He’s 6’2″ but he’s not dumb. Gerry has a law degree from Glasgow University and he doesn’t smoke or drink. He’s a girl magnet and a HUGE flirt and people assume he’s had a few drinks, but that’s not the case. He gave up booze years ago and unlike many other non-drinkers, he DIDN’T lose his personality! And he’s never been married or engaged.

We’re betting that Gerard Butler kind of enjoyed that sudden notoriety he achieved when the rumor surfaced that he was fooling around with Jennifer Aniston. Apparently they met for two minutes at the Toronto Film Festival and UK papers blew it up into a big “romance.” Throughout the speculation, Gerard was rather silent, but recently as he was leaving Crown Bar after a night of boozy partying he regretfully admitted “I am not dating that woman.”

Tourists used to walk on Rodeo Drive, hoping to catch a glimpse of a movie star. That’s all changed. Now we can’t walk on Roberston Blvd without practically tripping over a star. (Of course, you might be trampled by herd of paparazzi also.) Gerard Butler (“300″) just had lunch at the Newsroom Cafe and he looks deliciously available, leaning on that lamp post chatting on his phone. We’re not sure how available he really IS, because the sexy Scottish actor is very secretive about his love life.
