LIKE MANY CELEBRITIES, GIOVANNI RIBISI IS SUDDENLY A SUPERMARKET REGULAR

According to paparazzi, Giovanni Ribisi, 45, has been shopping at his neighborhood market in Los Feliz almost every day. The fact that he and his partner Emily Ward (she’s an interior designer) have two year old twins at home might explain why – but the store also HAPPENS to be located across the street from the Scientology Celebrity Center. Giovanni and his twin sister Marissa are second generation Scientologists and we wonder if HIS twins, Enzo and Maude, are THIRD generation. Giovanni’s older daughter Lucia from his first marriage has drifted away from Scientology, and there is no evidence that Emily Ward is or is not a Scientologist. We loved Giovanni on Friends (he played Phoebe’s goofy brother) and wish he’d quit Scientology- but we know it isn’t easy…

GIOVANNI RIBISI: TWO MORE SCIENTOLOGISTS

Giovanni Ribisi is pictured here taking a walk in Los Feliz – not far from the Scientology center that he’s closely connected to. Recently he and his girlfriend, designer Emily Ward, had twins – third generation Scientologists. Giovanni is a twin himself – his twin sister Marisa recently divorced another famous Scientologist, Beck. Hopefully Emily will fare better than Giovanni’s last wife – the British model Agyness Deyn. Agyness was the hottest thing in the modeling world before 2010 when she hooked up with Ribisi. She disappeared from the public eye. They divorced in 2015 and now Agyness is pursuing an acting career.

Friends Giovanni Ribisi Scientology

GIOVANNI RIBISI IS A BIG DEAL IN HIS NEIGHBORHOOD

Looks like Giovanni Ribisi, 40, has a new girlfriend. Ribisi divorced his model wife Agyness Deyn earlier this year after a short two and a half year marriage. She moved back to London. You may recall, he played Phoebe’s hilarious brother Frank on Friends and he’s currently in “Ted 2.” Giovanni and his new companion had breakfast The Oaks Gourmet in Los Feliz, conveniently located right across the street from the Scientology Celebrity Center. Odds are Giovanni’s date is a Scientologist also. Ribisi and other famous Scientologists (like Kirstie Alley) tend to live close to the center where they enjoy red carpet treatment.

RIBISI DIVORCE: DID SCIENTOLOGY REAR ITS UGLY HEAD?

Hollywood was taken by surprise when actor/director Giovanni Ribisi abruptly married UK model Agyness Deyn in a very private and tiny ceremony in 2012. Giovanni, who happens to be an exceptional actor, (he played Phoebe’s dim witted brother on Friends) was BORN into Scientology and has always been an active member of the organization. Suddenly Agyness was bombarded with questions about Scientology and at first she was nonchalant. Later she seemed to DEFEND the so-called religion and people assumed Giovanni was pulling her in. He couldn’t be married to a non-Scientologist. Giovanni has now filed for divorce – we wonder what Agyness has to say about Scientology NOW.

Giovanni, who hilariously played Phoebe’s brother on “Friends,” was born into Scientology and his family and friends are just about all Scientologists. When they first wed, Agyness insisted she wouldn’t change her religion, but recently she has been defending Scientology and most likely she IS getting involved. The first thing we thought of when we heard about the surprise marriage of Giovanni Ribisi, 37, and British supermodel Agyness Deyn, 29, was “Is she a Scientologist?” Ribisi, an accomplished character actor who played Phoebe’s brother on “Friends,” comes from an active family of Scientologists. And they all married Scientologists. Agyness just landed her first leading role in the UK movie “Sunset Song.” Deyn dated several musicians before surprising everyone with this marriage. We had no idea these two even KNEW each other. Hopefully, she won’t have to convert for him.

We knew the Scientologists stuck together, but their solidarity for a fashion show during Fashion Week was impressive. Actor Giovanni Ribisi’s twin sister Marissa is married to the musician Beck, and she has a clothing line called Whitley Kros. The front row of the catwalk show at Smashbox Studios was packed NOT with fashion editors or buyers, but B-list Scientologists. (We figure the Cruises and Travoltas are the A-listers and they weren’t around.) Here’s who showed up: Danny Masterson and Bijou Phillips, Kirstie Alley, Erika Christensen, Jason Lee, Giovanni Ribisi and sister Marissa, Jenna Elfman, and Juliette Lewis. We imagine Beck was backstage cheering his wife on.This event is significant because now Scientology is invading the sacred world of fashion!
