We knew the Scientologists stuck together, but their solidarity for a fashion show during Fashion Week was impressive. Actor Giovanni Ribisi’s twin sister Marissa is married to the musician Beck, and she has a clothing line called Whitley Kros. The front row of the catwalk show at Smashbox Studios was packed NOT with fashion editors or buyers, but B-list Scientologists. (We figure the Cruises and Travoltas are the A-listers and they weren’t around.) Here’s who showed up: Danny Masterson and Bijou Phillips, Kirstie Alley, Erika Christensen, Jason Lee, Giovanni Ribisi and sister Marissa, Jenna Elfman, and Juliette Lewis. We imagine Beck was backstage cheering his wife on.This event is significant because now Scientology is invading the sacred world of fashion!
