WHY DOESN’T ELIZABETH BERKLEY WEAR HER HUSBAND GREG LAUREN’S DESIGNS?

Greg Lauren and “Showgirls” star Elizabeth Berkley have been married for 14 years despite their fashion differences. Greg is a high-end designer and the nephew of Ralph Lauren. He specializes in distressed and repurposed street wear for both sexes, with an urban-military edge. For example, he might sew half an army jacket together with half a stained hoodie and the result costs $1000 and up. He IS very creative and his clothes sell at Barneys. He’s wearing his own designs in this photo but Elizabeth is NOT. She may be supportive, but we’ve never seen her actually wear her husband’s exceptional creations. It doesn’t seem to have hurt their relationship…

ELIZABETH BERKLEY ADVISES TEENS NOT TO BECOME SHOWGIRLS

You’d never guess by looking at her that Saved by the Bell actress Elizabeth Berkley was married to an acclaimed fashion designer. Her husband Greg Lauren was an artist who started his own line of deconstructed androgynous expensive one-of-a-kind sportswear sold at Barneys. It didn’t hurt that he’s the nephew of Ralph Lauren. Elizabeth’s style is more down to earth, especially now that she’s a mom to almost five year old Sky, who looks a lot like her. She’s come a long way since Showgirls– nowadays besides acting, Elizabeth has an advice website and writes self help books for teenage girls.

ELIZABETH BERKLEY DOESN’T WANT TO REMINISCE ABOUT “SAVED BY THE BELL”

Elizabeth Berkley,41, and her husband Greg Lauren, 44, are quite the picture perfect couple, along with their two year old little boy Sky. Handsome Greg IS the nephew of Ralph Lauren, and he has a knack for fashion, but he’s NOT in the clothing business – he’s an actor and a painter. Elizabeth seems incensed by the fact that Lifetime is doing a movie about the inner workings of “Saved by the Bell” – her series from the 90’s. There was much speculation about drugs and sex on that set, but Lifetime insists it’s a tame presentation.
