WHOOPI GOLDBERG THINKS THE 40 WOMEN ACCUSING BILL COSBY ARE LIARS

Whoopi Goldberg just lost what little credibility she still had by defending Bill Cosby once again. Forty-plus women accusing Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting them does not represent likelihood of guilt according to Whoopi Goldberg. Apparently she blames the victims. Whoopi got up on her high horse and accused Cosby critics of making “snap judgments!” Imagine that! Even after Cosby HIMSELF confessed to drugging women for sex purposes in his 2005 testimony, Whoopi insists he is “innocent until proven guilty.” Whoopi Goldberg is a disgrace to the female sex. And she still believes OJ Simpson didn’t do it.

We’re not fans of writer David Mamet to begin with, so when we heard that he attempts to create a little doubt about Phil Spector’s guilt in the murder of Lana Clarkson in his HBO movie, we were turned off, but not enough to keep us from seeing the movie. Maybe Mamet thought he needed some “conflict” to liven up the film. But Phil Spector’s life offers plenty of entertainment and his guilt is not debatable. We were fascinated to meet Phil at a party at Joan Rivers’ New York apartment back in the 90’s. He was obviously an egomaniac and an unstable character – whether drunk or sober. The jury got it right when they locked him up.

KATO KAELIN MIGHT HAVE HAD A VERY DIFFERENT LIFE IF HE’D TOLD THE TRUTH

Whenever we ran into Kato Kaelin through the years, we couldn’t help thinking “You could have been a HERO!” After the OJ Simpson trial we made a point of telling him that, but since then we only think it. He’s a likeable guy but proved himself to be a COWARD when he avoided saying anything during the trial that might make OJ look guilty. For a long time after the trial, he was despised by people appalled by the injustice to Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman, and fact that smirking murderer OJ was set free. Apparently Kato was scared stiff of telling the whole truth – but if he HAD, he would have been celebrated for the rest of his life for getting a vicious murderer locked up. Kato’s future might have been very different. Last we heard, Kato had an online sports show at FilmOn.com. Meanwhile, we’re curious to find out where Cindy Adams got that quote from Kato in her column today declaring OJ guilty – Kato denies all.

Guilty National Enquirer Photos Whitney Houston

WHITNEY’S FAMILY DOESN’T REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHO TOOK THAT ENQUIRER PHOTO

The Whitney Houston death photo scandal stirred up by the National Enquirer appears to be winding down. In spite of a call for a boycott, the issue sold very well for the tabloid, so they had no regrets. The people who run the funeral home denied involvement and pointed out that the cell phone photo was taken during a viewing, not the actual funeral. The strangest turn of all came when Whitney’s family asked the POLICE to investigate and find out who took the picture. As if the police could or would make such an effort! A private detective MIGHT nail the culprit who sold the photo, but maybe the family doesn’t REALLY want to know at this point. Accusing a relative or friend of Whitney would only prolong the sadness.

SHOULD THE JACKSONS BE “OVERJOYED” BY THE MURRAY VERDICT?

Why Michael Jackson’s family feels so celebratory since Dr Murray was appropriately found guilty is puzzling – it’s not like he WANTED Michael to die. It reminds us of parents who lose a child to drugs – they desperately want someone else to BLAME because they can’t bear to admit their child destroyed himself. So they accuse the drug dealer of murder. In fact, their children, and Michael Jackson, would still be alive if they hadn’t been addicted to drugs. Period. Murray was the doctor who got caught – what about all the other doctors who gave Michael what he wanted? There’s a lot of malpractice here, but ultimately Michael was a more than willing victim. Again Lindsay Lohan can laugh in the face of the law – although she was sentenced to 30 days for violating probation after shoplifting. Due to overcrowding in the Los Angeles prison system, she’ll be released in a matter of minutes and won’t even see he inside of a cell. To top it off, the judge kindly allowed her a week to surrender so she can complete her million dollar photo layout for Playboy. Too bad she can’t be FINED as punishment instead of given jail time she’ll never serve – cutting into her shopping might finally get her attention.

ROMAN POLANSKI: TIME TO FACE THE MUSIC

“Rosemary’s Baby” as much as anyone, but that doesn’t affect our judgment of director Roman Polanski’s rape of a 13 year old girl. Reading the details of the revolting crime simply make it impossible to excuse – even if more than thirty years have passed. The fact that some of his Hollywood friends would choose to support Polanski’s actions is almost as shocking as the illegal act itself. Forgive and forget? Should we forgive Phillip Garrido also because Jaycee didn’t actually “complain” about being kidnapped – and it happened 18 years ago! Maybe if Garrido were a successful Hollywood director, his friends would have petitioned for his freedom too! That same sense of entitlement allowed the Catholic church to get away with abusing children for many years.

It’s been six years, but Lana Clarkson can rest in peace, at last. The revolting Phil Spector (whose excellent music has nothing to do with his demeanor) has been found guilty and faces a sentence of fifteen years to life for second degree murder. No one is more surprised than he is. He’s been getting away with close to murder for years, brandishing guns and terrorizing women and children. We’re betting he’s done nothing to prepare for this sentence because he really thought he could get away with murder. The world is a better place!

OJ Simpson is almost getting what he deserves. Being convicted of two murders is what this ghoul really deserves, but any jail time is more than welcome. Hopefully, he’ll be in his 70’s before he is released. Finally, the families of his murder victims might be able to move on. Thank you, Las Vegas jury.
