SIMON COWELL WALKS TALL IN HIS ELEVATOR SHOES

Men who wear elevator shoes and the shoes they wear have always been a source of fascination. Simon Cowell is obviously not happy about his height (he claims to be 5’9”) and he’s been augmenting it for years. He’s quite secretive and buys expensive custom made shoes that have lifts inside and built up heels. Simon’s been wearing exactly the same style of pointy toe shoes for YEARS, and tops them off with extra long wide leg pants or jeans that cover them up. That explains why his style hasn’t changed for the last 25 years…

TOM HOLLAND: TINY SPIDER-MAN TO THE RESCUE

Tom Holland is suited up in his new Spider-Man costume while filming a scene in New York with his on-camera love interest, Zendaya. They’re just wrapping up the last scenes for Spider-Man: Far From Home. In some scenes it’s very apparent that 5’ 10” Zendaya is quite a bit taller than her leading man – especially when he’s rescuing her from one thing or another. Height is no problem in real life – it’s entirely possible that Zendaya and Tom are a couple, but their lips are sealed.

Cher Diet Height Height Challenged Weight

CHER DOESN’T HAVE TO DIET – SHE JUST GETS TALLER!

You gotta give Cher some credit – she figured out a whole new way to feel thinner without giving up ice cream or the other yummy desserts she loves. She lies about her HEIGHT! Back in the 1970’s Cher admitted to being 5’6” and she still towered over her husband Sonny Bono. In the eighties she claimed to be ALMOST 5’8”, and currently she insists she is officially 5’9”. Having been to her yard sale years ago, we KNOW she is 5’5” to 5’6” at the MOST. (We tried on her clothes!) Cher figures that if she is 5’9,” she can eat more and whatever she weighs (135 lbs?) looks like LESS because she’s tall. Above, the Mamma Mia star is enjoying ice cream in St Tropez, and of course she looks great, height notwithstanding…

Tom Cruise is home in London promoting his new Mission Impossible movie and signing autographs. It appears that his daughter Suri was not invited to the premiere. One thing never changes – Tom is wearing some new elevator shoes with built-in lifts that make him even taller than the old ones he bought in Beverly Hills…

ROBERT DENIRO NEEDS THOSE EXTRA INCHES

Must be hard for observers to keep a straight face when Robert DeNiro films The Irishman wearing these high platforms. DeNiro’s character in the Scorsese film, is Frank “The Irishman“ Sheehan, the labor union mobster who killed the corrupt Teamsters Union President Jimmy Hoffa. Sheehan was 6’4” and towered over Hoffa, played by 5’7” Al Pacino. Martin Scorsese had a wardrobe of Tom Cruise style height enhancing footwear built for DeNiro.

Bruno Mars Elevator Shoes Height Challenged Victoria's Secret

BRUNO MARS IN HIGH HEELS

Bruno Mars livened up the Victoria’s Secret fashion show in Paris with his energetic music (we’re never quite sure what the point of these underwear shows is) but the most fun part was Bruno dancing around the statuesque models in his fur coat. The 5’5” dynamo was prepared for the event – he wore his HIGHEST HEELS! Heels on the outside of his boot were at least 3 inches, and it was evident that the inside was equally built up by the way his pants bunched over the boots. Did he visit Tom Cruise’s shoemaker for special lifts? Even with the extra inches Bruno was dwarfed by the models in stilettos, but that’s one of the things we love about him.

Caitlyn Jenner Height Challenged

CAITLYN JENNER NEEDS TO GET SOME TALLER FRIENDS

The good news is that Caitlyn Jenner was invited to a birthday party for one of the Sultan of Brunei’s sons at the posh Ambassador Casino in London. This causes one to ponder many questions such as “how did Caitlyn become friends with the Bruneis?” News to us. At first glance this photo looks like trick photography, but Caitlyn is, indeed, THAT much taller than her friend next to her. And the friend is wearing heels! She’s nicely dressed, but might be a good idea for Caitlyn to think about finding some taller friends so she looks daintier….

SOMETHING WE NEVER KNEW ABOUT JAMIE FOXX

We always thought Django Unchained star Jamie Foxx was rather tall until we saw this photo. He’s in London leaving La Bonbonniere at 3 AM and he looks quite debonair, but he made one mistake. The guy escorting him out the door is tall enough to make Jamie look tiny by comparison. (Maybe that’s why Jamie and Tom Cruise are pals.) Anyway, Jamie claims to be 5’9” so he has Tom beat by a few.

MARY KATE OLSEN’S FIANCEE LOOKS LIKE HER DAD

We knew the Olsen twins were tiny, but this photo makes Mary-Kate, 28, look almost freakishly miniscule! She’s wearing heels and is barely taller than that normal sized man’s elbow. By the way, that towering man happens to be her fiancée Olivier Sarkozy, 45, who may or may not already be her husband. (They have matching gold bands.) Mary-Kate was doing a little shopping on the fancy side of West Hollywood where her Row store is located. She was spotted by paparazzi and tried to hide her face – or maybe her ring.

Height Challenged Penny Lancaster Rod Stewart

ROD STEWART: DO YA THINK I’M SHRINKING?

At least Rod Stewart, 69, has a sense of humor about the height difference between him and his wife Penny Lancaster, 43. He squatted down so he’d look even shorter in this photo to amuse the paparazzi. Supposedly there is only a three inch height difference between Rod and Penny (she’s 6’1” and he’s 5’10”) but her heels make a difference. Rod, who has eight children, (two boys with Penny) is currently performing at Caesar’s palace in Las Vegas through February.
