Soho is the place to be. Gerard Butler looks perfectly content walking sdown the street sipping his coffee. And why not? He’s become the first choice to play the “boyfriend” for actresses in Hollywood over 30. He holds his own with women like Hilary Swank, Katherine Heigl, and Jennifer Aniston, without stealing their thunder as female leads. For the time being he’s in “a woman’s world” and he’s not complaining.

At first glance we weren’t sure this is Hilary Swank but it is. She looks like Matt Damon’ssister. (The good looking Matt Damon) Maybe it’s the haircut – it’s reminiscent of “Boys Don’t Cry” - maybe TOO reminiscent.

Some funny business going on with Hilary Swank and Chad Lowe – or at least a close call.Here’s the deal: Our spies tell us Hilary had made reservations and was scheduled to arrive Sunday night on a flight from New York. But when the plane landed – her exhusband Chad Lowe got off, but NO Hilary! We’re trying to figure out if Chad is trying to get back together with his ex so he arranged to take the same flight – and then she backed out , or what. It’s an awfully big coincidence that they would be on the same plane by sheer accident. Chad must have cleaned his stuff out of their New York apartment – he had lots of luggage. We’re NOT crazy about his outfit.

We hear that Ed Begley, Jr. spent Monday trying to convince car loving Jay Leno to get rid of his gas guzzlers and purchase a hybrid. That must have been a tough sell!
Only Jay knows how many vehicles he’s collected, but while Living With Ed (showtimes) was filming in Burbank environmentalist Ed was doing what he could… Ed’ll be happier when hybrid owner Leonardo DiCaprio appears on the show soon… More celebs lined up for Ed; publicist and friend, Tommy Garrett, Hilary Swank are already scheduled…
