PETE DAVIDSON IS NOW A MODEL

We can’t help but wonder how much Kim Kardashian had to do with the fact that Pete Davidson is now the face of H&M’s menswear. No SNL comic that we know of as ever gone on to become a fashion icon. Since Pete was pulled into the limelight with Kim he has been bombarded with offers – seems like guys his age all want to be like him. H&M explains that young men “can relate to Pete – they buy vintage and mix in a few pieces from H&M.” Pete has also worked with Calvin Klein selling their briefs and a couple of other menswear lines. Pete Davidson is now making serious money as a model!

WHAT’S NOT TO LIKE ABOUT BILLIE EILISH?

We’ve loved Billie Eilish’s music for while, but when we saw her on SNL this fall, we were flabbergasted. This teenager (she’s 18 now) made this original and cool music with her older brother Finneas in his modest bedroom in Highland Park! (Her parents are still in shock) And we love her equally original style – the Bad Guy singer says fashion is her “defense mechanism.” She wears colorful, baggy clothes to attract attention, but they don’t invite people to make judgments about her physique. Now she has a collection of oversize fashions (some neon) at H&M, so we can all hide our bodies!

AMAZING- JENNIFER LOPEZ’S DAUGHTER DOESN’T SEEM OVERINDULGED

Jennifer Lopez and her sister took j.lo’s daughter Emme on an all-girl shopping expedition for new school clothes in New York yesterday. Emme could go anywhere she wanted and she by-passed the fancy stores and chose to shop at highly affordable H&M like the rest of her friends. Nice that Emme seems to be a down to earth kid in spite of her celebrity family.

Beckham is that rare athlete who actually LOVES fashion. To lighten things up, H&M also featured Kevin Hart in funny ads for the collection. Now David and Victoria can compete to see who is the more successful designer.

IT HAD TO HAPPEN – KAIA GERBER LANDED A MOVIE ROLE

Kaia Gerber, 14, has been making the party rounds with her mom Cindy Crawford – at least the parties that involve fashion, which she loves. Mother and daughter shopped at the Balmain H&M VIP prelaunch party at the LA store last night. Consequently they could browse the merchandise in peace and avoid the frantic crowds at the opening today. Today the glam pair dressed down for an appearance at Universal Studios where they guested on Extra. Kaia models occasionally when school permits, and already has a movie role in “Sister Cities.” Hopefully, her acting debut will be more successful than Cindy’s. Her mom NEVER did another film after her first one flopped.

David Beckham is taking his H&M men’s underwear collection seriously. He’s more than just a model and spokesperson – he’s contributing to the designs. It started as a basic assortment of white briefs and t -shirts. Now he’s added colors, pajamas and lounging apparel. We love this ad with him wearing black leggings and matching shirt – or is it long underwear? No matter.

H&M is launching a huge print and billboard ad campaign featuring David Beckham in some very revealing underpants. Apparently H&M intends to out-sex Calvin Klein’s startling underwear ads that once featured Mark Wahlberg’s abs. H&M is also planning to erect a number of ten foot statues of Beckham and his bulging crotch in NY, LA, and San Francisco. Mothers are already complaining that they don’t want their kids to see their soccer idol David looking like that. And of course there is considerable speculation as to whether there is any enhancement…

Who’s better at selling men’s underwear than David Beckham? David had an epiphany when he realized how much underwear Emporio Armani was selling after he became their spokesperson. When his contract was up (tennis player Rafael Nadel was hired to replace him) Beckham jumped at the chance to create his OWN collection of what he calls “men’s bodywear.” He consulted his soccer team mates on the final designs and his new collection will be distributed by H&M in 1800 stores in 40 countries. Accessible to all.
