HONEY BOO BOO: A DOLLAR STILL MAKES HER HOLLER

While we were busy thinking about Covid and other things…Honey Boo Boo (Alana Thompson) grew up – a whole lot! She’s 15 now and in the 8th grade.(?) She is also either 4’4” or 4’11” tall – depending who you ask. Her mother June Shannon admits she blew all her TV money on drugs during the past year and recently got out of rehab. Just in time, the family is reuniting for yet another series: Mama June: Road to Redemption. In preparation for the new series, Alana has been investigating long nails and “stripper lashes” as you can see above.

IS HONEY BOO BOO DOOMED TO A LIFE OF REALITY TV?

Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson is 13 and a teenager now, and seems to be headed toward a career on reality TV. Alana and her Mama June were breakout stars on Toddlers & Tiaras and quickly got their own series, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. The show was a big success from 2012 to 2014, but it was cancelled when it leaked out that her mother was dating a child molester. Alana was a hit on the junior version of Dancing with the Stars and Bridezillas invited her to appear on camera at a recent New York event. Will Celebrity Big Brother be in her future?

HONEY BOO BOO AND THE CURSE OF CARRY-OUT

Wouldn’t you think that Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson might be influenced by the fact that her mother Mama June lost 300 pounds over the last few years? Granted, June had gastric bypass surgery, but she DID have to stick to a reasonable diet. Child beauty pageant contestant Honey Boo Boo was a hit on TV with her own series in 2012 when she was 6. But she’s 12 now and destined to be bigger than her mother if she doesn’t lay off the burgers. June and Alana are in New York promoting June’s series “From Not to Hot.”

Honey Boo Boo Mama June Weight

MAMA JUNE SUFFERED FOR HER NEW “FROM NOT TO HOT” SERIES

Honey Boo Boo’s Mama June had the biggest neck we’ve EVER seen on a woman when their reality series started. It seemed highly improbable that this 460 pound woman could ever look like a normal person. But gastric bypass surgery made it impossible for her to overeat and she lost an incredible 300 pounds in a relatively short time. Halfway through the process, June had excess skin removed from her neck, with still more to go. Losing the weight was tough, but having all that skin removed- 12 to 13 pounds of it –was the PAINFUL part – but absolutely necessary. Just about all of her 5’6” body needs hanging skin removed and the scars are big. June says the surgery cost her $75,000 but was worth it. She still faces further skin removal. Hopefully, her chubby daughters will learn from all this.(Above, Mama June and Honey Boo Boo are promoting June’s new series “From Not to Hot.”

GLAMOURIZED HONEY BOO BOO GOES HOLLYWOOD!

Omigosh! Honey Boo Boo is growing up FAST – with the help of Hollywood beauty experts. She and Mama June and Sugar Bear walked the red carpet at the premier of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars. June and Sugar Bear participated on the show with their problematic relationship. Boo Boo is 10 now and she’s already wearing fake eyelashes, make up, and high heels. And her hair was professionally blown out for this event. Mama June still swears that the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo show Will RETURN on another network, but we’ll see it to believe it.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo Honey Boo Boo Red Carpet Sugar Bear

HONEY BOO BOO HAS A RED CARPET MOMENT

Who knew that they had red carpet events in Marietta, Georgia? Honey Boo Boo and her family were given the red carpet treatment at the grand opening of a local restaurant called Benzino’s Crab Trap. Despite their show being cancelled, they are still the most famous celebrities in town and caused quite a stir. Sugar Bear was heard telling someone he’s looking for a job as a truck driver. After the photo op, they all dug into plates full of crab legs.

Cancelled Honey Boo Boo Mama June

IS HONEY BOO BOO LOSING HER LOOKS?

The TV cameras have been removed, but life seems to go on at Honey Boo Boo’s family home in Georgia. Alana seems happy enough, but the rest of the family has turned on Mama June because the TLC gravy train has crashed. Family members had grown accustomed to getting those big checks for appearing on the show and it’s June’s fault that it’s OVER. The future is suddenly NOT so bright. Honey Boo Boo tried to liven things up by dying her hair red for Halloween, but nobody’s laughing.

Cancelled Child Molester Honey Boo Boo Mama June

HONEY BOO BOO : WHAT JUST HAPPENED?

It appears that Honey Boo Boo’s Mama June is NOT the person many people thought she was. When Honey Boo Boo’s reality show first came on the air, many viewers were horrified at the family’s lack of education and unsophisticated country lifestyle. Others were VERY supportive, insisting that June was a loving mother and her family was really happy. Funny how June turned out to be the villain here – she’s spending a lot of money on her jailbird boyfriend who molested her own daughter ten years ago. Of course her other daughters are now exposed to this predator on a daily basis. Cheers to TLC for canceling the show. Poor Honey Boo Boo. She’s uncharacteristically downcast on the set of her reality show – perhaps because her parents are separated. Mama June forced Sugar Bear to move out when she caught him trolling dating sites online. That’s how THEY met! She’s only 9, but it appears Boo Boo’s beauty contest days are over, so she’s lucky to have that TV show. Since she’s not genetically gifted, hopefully she’ll use the money to go to college…

THE HONEY BOO BOO WEDDING WILL BE A RATINGS GOLD MINE

How did the producers of “Honey Boo Boo” talk Mama June into MARRYING the father of their child, Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson, today on camera? June and Mike have been together happily unmarried for nine years after meeting online, and neither showed ANY interest in tying the knot. Certainly the reality show producers saw big profits in having a Georgia redneck wedding and plenty of money changed hands. June realized it would be a very profitable move and they might as well do it on TV. Added bonus: Alana “Honey Boo Boo” is happy to see her parents married. If Alana gets a college education out of all this, it will be worth it.
