HONEY BOO BOO’S MOM: 100 POUNDS THINNER? WE DOUBT IT.

Everyone is making a big fuss about Honey Boo Boo’s mom June and her astonishing “100 pound weight loss.” June claims she lost the weight without dieting or exercising, she just “became more active” doing the TV series. What was she doing all day BEFORE the series? Also, in comparing recent photos of June (above) with photos from last year, it’s very difficult to see ANY change – much less 100 pounds worth – especially in the neck area. One would hope for a slimmer neck. We’re not convinced that June’s scale is working properly.

Honey Boo Boo made her gay uncle Marvin Lee Thompson, 29, famous overnight because she dubbed him “Uncle Poodle.” Alana “Honey Boo Boo” has always been surrounded by gays in the beauty pageant business and she affectionately calls them “Poodles.” Lee is the younger brother of Alana’s dad “Sugar Bear” and surprisingly, he has a rap sheet to match his redneck family! Leave it to The Enquirer to dig up FIVE mug shots of Uncle Poodle from various crimes like credit card fraud, theft, and driving offenses. Uncle Poodle may be somewhat better groomed than his redneck family, but he has the same bad habits.

The Honey Boo Boo steamroller just keeps advancing! Honey Boo Boo (Alana Thompson) and her mama June visited the Grove today on their whirlwind tour of Hollywood. They’ve been on local TV shows all day and Extra invited them to The Grove to talk about Rosie O’Donnell’s invitation to buy them a new house. June said she likes the house she lives in, but wouldn’t mind renovating and adding some bedrooms. Rosie wants to make a TV special out of the home makeover. Simon Doonan says Honey Boo Boo is “today’s Shirley Temple” and he might be right.
