KISS THE PLAYBOY MANSION GOODBYE

The Playboy mansion is now in the process of being mostly demolished and this photo of how it USED to look brought back a lot of memories. The backyard and pool area was ideal for large parties – with lots of food , music, and drinks, not to mention predatory men of a certain age. Young women always outnumbered males and most of the men were a lot older. There was always a fabulous buffet and that’s what attracted hungry young actresses, models etc. My friends and I never missed a party just because of the food. And you could meet those old time Las Vegas comedians and all kinds of athletes. Bill Cosby was always there, enthusiastically greeting gaggles of arriving girls. It was fun while it lasted, but also a little sleazy…

HOLLY MADISON: IT’S A WHOLE NEW WORLD

In the light of what’s happening now for women, what in the world does Holly Madison think when she looks back at her years with Hugh Hefner? Remember, she lived with him from 2002 to 2008, along with two other Playmates, but she was #1 because everyone expected Hef to marry her. The Girls Next Door series (about Hef and his three girlfriends) made Holly famous and she summoned up the courage to leave before the show ended. Since then she married, had two children, and is in the process of getting a divorce. Holly is whipping herself into shape by working out with Tracy Anderson now that she’s about to be single again. We think she’d be ten pounds lighter if she just removed all that fake hair.

COREY FELDMAN: STILL TOURING WITH HIS ANGELS

We can’t decide if Corey Feldman, 46, aspires to be the next Michael Jackson or the next Hugh Hefner. Most likely a twisted combination of both. His weird fashion and the fact that he tours with his all female band “Corey Feldman & the Angels” (if you haven’t seen their Today Show performance, you must) implies that he would like a chunk of Michael Jackson’s popstar fame and fortune. And the fact that he takes “blondes of good character” under his wing and promotes their careers (sometimes they live with him) is reminiscent of Hugh Hefner. Oh, and he married a blonde (his wife Courtney in the sailor dress) who doesn’t seem to mind having the other girls around.

ENGAGED AGAIN: HUGH HEFNER’S FRIENDS ARE WORRIED

Hugh Hefner’s friends were appalled when he allowed his 26 year old runaway bride Crystal Harris move back into the Playboy mansion earlier this year. They felt she had really humiliated him by jilting him before their highly publicized June 2011 wedding, and he was behaving like a fool. Since he announced plans to reschedule the wedding for New Year’s Eve, they want Hef, 86, to have his head examined! Hefner’s pals feel that after Crystal dumped Hugh, she wised up to the fact that her young boyfriends wouldn’t spoil her like Hef did, and ultimately opted for the money. We’re hoping there were a lot of legal documents drawn up to make sure Crystal doesn’t take advantage of her aging husband.

HUGH HEFNER IS FIGHTING FOR CUSTODY OF HIS DOG

We were surprised and rather touched to hear that Hugh Hefner has recovered nicely from being jilted at the altar by his 25 year old bride-to-be Crystal Harris in June, but he’s asking for custody of their Cavalier King Charles spaniel Charlie. Hef, 85, told Crystal she could keep the engagement ring (which she already auctioned off at Christie’s for $47,000) and the Bentley he gave her if she would let Charlie stay at the mansion. The Playboy mogul has grown very fond of the pup. Crystal is thinking it over.

Meanwhile, Hugh Hefner’s former longtime girlfriend Holly Madison is in Las Vegas promoting her book “The Showgirl Next Door: Holly Madison’s Las Vegas,” and she drew quite a crowd at the Paris hotel. You’ll recall Holly left Hef after years of togetherness because he reused to marry HER or pursue having a baby together. Holly was shocked when Hef promptly took up with Crystal Harris and they quickly got engaged. She was suspicious of Crystal’s motivations and it turns out Crystal lived up to expectations by dumping Hef days before the wedding.

We can just imagine 85 year old Hugh Hefner’s 24 year old fiancee Crystal Harris tucking him in early at night and sneaking out late to hit the clubs with her young boyfriend. Crystal was actually seen partying with “Dr” Phil McGraw’s son Jordan at Chateau Marmont while wearing her giant engagement ring. Jordan happened to be her music producer at the Organica record label until he was let go for “dating” their female singers. According to Radaronline, Crystal wants a music career AND money and this week she decided Jordan was a better bet than Hef. She packed up and left the Playboy premises, leaving forlorn Hef the unpleasant job of canceling his lavish wedding plans for this Saturday.

It’s funny how people react to the news that Hugh Hefner, 84, just got engaged to his 24 year old Playmate girlfriend Crystal Harris. Some people laugh, some are horrified, and others are outraged. Hello – we’ve seen it all before with Anna Nicole Smith and her 89 year old billionaire in a wheelchair, J Howard Marshall. In fact, this is a fairly common situation when it comes to lonely billionaires and aspiring blondes. Whether Hef will really go on with a wedding remains to be seen, but that ring bought him the attentive company of Crystal Harris for the time being. Hef just wants to have fun and enjoy his money in his declining years. And why shouldn’t he? He worked for it. Crystal Harris knows she will never have to worry about money again. Two happy people. What’s the big deal?

KIMBERLEY CONRAD HEFNER SAYS GOODBYE TO PLAYBOY PERKS

Another reminder that the world of Playboy isn’t what it used to be. Hugh Hefner is finally in the process of divorcing his wife Kimberley Conrad (they’ve been separated for ten years.) It all started when Hugh gave Kimberly nine months to move out of the mansion next door to his so he could sell it. She sued him for half the price of the house and he filed for divorce. He’s been supporting the former Playmate in high style all these years but that’s apparently over. Kimberley was seen flying alone in COACH class on Southwest Airlines from Reno to LAX, where she had to collect and schlep her own luggage. No more private jets or bodyguards. She did not look happy- or glamorous- according to another passenger, she kept a knit cap pulled down and wore a bulky coat. Incidentally, her two sons with Hef, Marston and Cooper, are both in college and Hef continues to support them. (Above, Kimberley was photographed with Quincy Jones)
