JACK QUAID: ROMANTIC COMEDIES RUN IN THE FAMILY

Jack Quaid, 27, definitely inherited his mother Meg Ryan’s smile, and that won’t do him any harm in his film career. The NYU grad got his first break in The Hunger Games in 2012, and now he’s starring in a romantic comedy, Plus One, at the Tribeca Film Festival. (It got decent reviews and was described as “well lit,” which means it’s not dreary and dark like so many films lately.) The story’s about platonic friends who agree to be each other’s “plus ones” during a summer full of weddings. Of course his mom Meg is the undisputed queen of romantic comedies, so Jack has a lot to live up to. Jack took his girlfriend of two years, actress Lizzy McGroder, to the premier.

MEG RYAN’S SON JACK IS A WORKING ACTOR

Meg Ryan and her son Jack Quaid, 23, always look like they’re having fun when they hang out together. Meg lives in New York with her daughter Daisy and she came back to her former hometown Brentwood to spend time with Jack. In 2015 Meg directed and starred in Ithaca, a drama set in the 1940’s. Her old pal Tom Hanks and Sam Shepard also starred, along with Jack, who was appropriately cast as her character’s son. Jack’s acting career is hotter than his mom’s – after The Hunger Games, he landed a role on the hot new HBO series Vinyl, produced by Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger. It’s all about the music business in the tumultuous 1970’s, and it’s rumored that David Bowie appears on one episode.

MEG RYAN’S SON JACK ALREADY HAS AN EDUCATION AND A CAREER

We told you “Hamilton “ was the hottest ticket in New York – Cher saw the show this weekend and so did Meg Ryan and her tall son Jack Quaid. Jack, 23, is still studying at NYU but he makes a living as an actor. He appeared in the two Hunger Games movies as a villain and he has four independent films coming out this year. Meg looks adorable as usual in her Comme Des Garcons inspired outfit.

MEG RYAN AND DENNIS QUAID’S SON JACK GOT A ROLE IN “THE HUNGER GAMES”

Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid’s 19 year old son son Jack is serious about following in the family business of acting, and he’s landed a role in the much touted upcoming film “The Hunger Games.” (The movie is based on a trilogy of teen books comparable to the Twilight series and is expected to be a huge hit.) Jack (third from left above – he’s got his mother’s smile!) plays Marvel, a nasty character, and he was warned that viewers will dislike him. Jack Quaid is currently a sophomore at NYU, studying theater, of course.
