When it comes to haircuts, it looks like Jada Pinkett Smith, 42, has outdone her style crazed daughter Willow, 12. Jada seems to have shaved the sides of her head like Miley Cyrus, and kept it long on top. Extreme. Willow is hiding under her hood as they dash through LAX. Jaden Smith 14, in New York with his mother Jada, is filming a video for his song Hello. His singing sister Willow, 12, came along for the ride and got dressed up just in case she gets a cameo. Could be risky – she might steal his thunder. Jada kept an eye on the proceedings – Jaden rocked two tone hair and his perpetually wrinkled brow along with a fur lined hoodie, while Willow was clad in a Native American inspired knit coat with stand-up hair. Actually, it’s a good thing both kids can sing – with a Scientology education there’s not much else they’ll be prepared to do.

Back in 2011, Will and Jada Smith announced their production company would be doing the remake of the Broadway show “Annie” with music by Jay-Z, and most important of all, starring their daughter Willow, who was VERY excited about playing the role. They had some trouble settling on a director and the project was postponed several times. Now the movie has come together and Sony hired someone named Will Gluck to direct,but Willow is OUT as Annie. The reason: she simply GREW too much! When Willow had the part she was only nine. Now 11, she’s grown into a very tall girl and can no longer play a child. Ironically, Lilla Crawford, who currently plays “Annie” on Broadway is also 11, but far more petite than Willow. Since she’s too big to play a child, Willow will have to audition for teen roles now. Wow! It looks like Jaden and Willow Smith have grown a foot since the last time we saw them. They got their dad’s height, not their petite mom’s. Certainly their style has also evolved. Jaden, now 14 and Willow, 12, attended the Justin Bieber concert in Miami, so the three are obviously still buddies.

Will Smith is in New York , looking surprisingly grey, and without his wife Jada Pinkett yet again. While rumors of marriage problems continue to circulate, these two seem to be quite happy spending most of their time apart. You rarely see them together unless they’re with their kids. Perhaps they’ve reached some kind of agreement that gives them both lots of freedom. They look perfectly happy on their own and certainly don’t seem eager to split up.
Willow Smith is getting VERY tall and it’s clear that she is still inspired by Rihanna’s outrageous fashion. Her stylist Mariel Haenn put together this outfit for Willow to wear in New York where she’s promoting her new song “Fireball” with Nicki Minaj. Imagine having a celebrity stylist at the age of 11! Who better than the preteen pop sensation to whip her hair for the kids at the traditional Easter Egg Roll at the White House on Monday April 25? Willow couldn’t say no – she got a personal invitation from the president! All the Smiths are thrilled – who doesn’t love buddying up with the first family? Even though Will and Jada are closet Scientologists, you can bet the beleaguered group is happy about this news.
Will and Jada Smith seem to be doing what John Travolta and Tom Cruise couldn’t pull off – they have a successful production company – Overbrook Entertainment– linked to Scientology. Overbrook produces all of Will’s movies and is in the process of making his kids movie stars also. They’re producing a new M. Night Shyamalan sci fi movie starring Jaden and Will as a father and son 1000 years in the future, who crash land on the abandoned earth. At least one Overbrook executive is now working at Will Smith’s private Scientology based school “New Village Academy.” Perhaps the secret to the success of Will’s production company is the fact that he and Jada DENY being Scientologists.
Jada Pinkett Smith is a huge fan of crystals – she likes to wear them, touch them, and look at them. She’s apparently a frequent visitor at Crystalarium because she knows her way around the West Hollywood store. One of Jada’s first stops after returning from her daughter Willow’s European tour with Justin Bieber was the crystal store. A fellow shopper reported that Jada “spent a lot of money” – she picked out a gemstone pendant, several crystals and minerals, and books about crystal healing. Some people believe that gemstones have therapeutic qualities. Maybe she needed a quick cure for jet lag.
